If that Athletic article from the other day is right and Parros didn't want to suspend Wilson for his hit on Carlo earlier this season he needs to be removed from his position instantly. Not sure why I'm surprised when Colin Campbell still has a job with the league after those emails came out during that lawsuit recently(not to mention all the alleged shit he would pull in regards to his sons games/teams).

Exactly. That Caps player probably doesn't get crosschecked in the teeth last night if they had simply suspended Wilson like they should have.

Tbf he’ll get his. They all do. Marchand has. Avery did, guys took swipes at Rome for the rest of his playing days after the late hit on Horton. Kadri routinely gets roughed up by Boston for trying to injure their team in back to back playoffs.

Also Buch got suspended(which he should have to be honest) for something Chara only got a 5k fine for last year.

What are the chances McDavid puts up 100 points in 56 games playing the entire league and not just Canadian teams?

31 points in 11 games. That's fucking absurd. Imagine how big of a star he could be if he had any sort of personality(other than hockey robot) and the NHL had a marketing department.

He has more points in the last 11 games than Detroits leading scorer.. and Detroit's season is over.

And now imagine a team having him AND Leon Draisaitl, playing exclusively other Canadian teams for an entire season and still not even being in the Top 10 league wide in said season.

Certainly possible. Goaltending still looks pretty flaky and when they slump they slump hard and can lose to anyone. Habs suck and are gassed and banged up so that would be extra hilarious if it happens.
