My betting has gone to shit lately..

I'm ending up even practically, I just seem to throw money down for the hell of it and don't even study.

    Should I take a break?

Would love for you to do a write up in live betting, unfortunately in Australia you need to call up if not at a tab so it's hard for basketball.

Live betting the knicks, by no means a lock, just have good faith they'll pull it off

Just as a basic rule of thumb, I always make 1 live bet on a side when the live betting spread is 6 points off of the closing line. The Panthers/Seahawks game has a spread of 7.5-8 right now, so if the opportunity arises, ill live bet the Panthers at +13.5 (or better) and if I can get the Seahawks at -1.5 (or better). Just one bet. More often than not, itll hit. Itll lose too, thats why I only limit myself to one live bet per side. NFL lines are very tight. Its probably the hardest sport to cap in terms of betting the spread because theyre so damn accurate.

edit this is for NFL Football. NBA is diff and I havent really touched on it unless im watching a game and I have a feel for how its playing out. If one team is getting super lucky w free throws or just bad luck, ill bet the other side. I dont remember which game it was but it was earlier this week, Team A was shooting like 55% halfway through the third with Team B shooting around 45% but the score was tied bc of FT shooting and turnovers. I live bet team A bc I assume it will round out. Well, sure enough Team A came through. NBA lines arent as tight as NFL so its hard to have a solid strategy going into it

I'm on them as well at -1.5. Hopefully they don't let up and let the Kings back in the game like they have been recenlty.

Absolutely 100% yes. Or at the least do something like what my buddy did. He took 1 month and only made a maximum of 1 bet for a maximum of 1 unit per day. He said it worked great to help him right the ship. He'd take a glance at lines and just pick the 2 or 3 that jumped out to him and do a little research on those. Even if he liked them all after the research, he'd only bet the one he liked best. I think (this was a couple years ago and he gave me the general idea so my details might not be 100% correct but they are close) he ended up making a bet most days, probably 25 days that month? He said he had a profitable month (though of course it couldn't have been big profit) but more importantly it brought him back to enjoying the research and actual skill of capping instead of just betting to bet.

He only bets College Football and MLB, so from Jan-March I think he takes a break. But he said during the summer he was betting like 8 MLB games per day a lot of times and putting in no research. Just throwing darts. That's why he did that one month, 1 bet per day thing.

Knicks have had the lead since mid-way through the first. The Kings haven't been able to get that big basket to tie it up. Let's hope it stays that way.

Live bet $10 on panthers for $150, don't think it'll happen but there have been crazier comebacks
