Multiplatform Official Dragon's Dogma 2 Discussion

If you go to the Checkpoint town there's a quest that gives you one that weighs 4. Some guy with a backpack is standing in front of town and asks you to find an orb for him.

FYI, body size affects how much you can carry. I made my pawn a 6'7 Amazonian with thunder thighs. She carries all my stuff. And go around looking for those yellow bugs on trees, they increase how much you can carry.
Interesting and good tip to go for giga chad pawns. Thanks. And yeah, I love me a random golden beetle find; they’re easier to spot at night from their afterglow, I find.

I killed my first dragon at level 32. Damn thing took two of my wakestones.
Big ups. First time I saw one it was night. I saw only the silhouette of wings and mistook for a griffin so I approached. As I got closer, I was like WTF and this gargoyle face pierced the dark looking at me. That’s when daddy ran, lol.

Killed a Chimera and found the Elven village. Got pushed off the fucking log bridge AGAIN by a damn pawn.

Got a couple new cool bows, and of course I'm not playing an archer.

Also finally finished the nun quest.

Make sure you have an in-party pawn who can speak Elven tongue or you won’t be able to trade with local merchants. I remember the garb for archers there being top. The smithy’s equipment enhancements are also uniquely magick-focused, in case you need the defence.

Oh yeah, I had made sure of that before I went. Had 2 in my party that spoke Elvish lol.

It's really cool that even with having a translator, the elves still speak it.

Today's goals are:
Elven escort quest.
Waterfall cave.
Maybe talk to the dude in jail.
Dragon?

Elven escort mission done.
Wandered around aimlessly in the forest.
Found a couple new caves as rift stones.
Haven't even got close to Verdun or the waterfall cave.

I did however meet up with a dragon.

As we are getting our fuck on, and god damn griffon decides to join the party uninvited. So now I'm getting to fight 2 monsters that I REALLY don't want to fight.

Manage to chase off the stupid bird and FINALLY beat the dragon, and of course the griffon decides to come back.

You're damn right I ran.

Luckily I had a campsite near by.

Decided to try my luck with the dragon by all the ballista. That didn't go well at all.

Has anyone figured out how to get into locked houses?
Gotta be an archer. There is usually an opening in the wall on the other side and you just shoot the bar.

Exploding barrels might work too depending on the door.

I've seen the openings and was thinking there was a way to climb in. My pawn is an archer so I've never tried it myself.

Highly doubtful you can get a pawn to shoot them. I can't even get a pawn to open a fucking chest or knock down a ladder.

Yeah in the previous game pawns would pick up everything. This one they don't do shit unless you choose the right specialization.
