Omgggggggg going to make a gigantic bet on Raquel if she opens that price on 5d

What is the most you can bet when the odds opened?

Most bookies only allow small bets initially, need to wait close to fight day for bigger bets

My bankroll right now is only 2 grand, so for me i'd hit -125 with a bet of 375 to win 300 which they will allow

Rounders is my shit

But yeah i'm confident as hell on this one. If I used units the way you guys with bigger bankrolls do, it would have taken me god knows how long to turn a 130 into 2000 lol

Ill hit RP hard at -200. Beyond that is parlay fodder for me

I was going to ask about that. Books must read this betting forum before releasing lines. Alot of knowledge in here, is it wise to discuss whether you think a fighter will be -200...

It's possible they read this, but I doubt they put too much stock in basing their lines on forum threads. Bookies are not nearly as smart as ppl think when it comes to capping certain sports, especially mma. although as mentioned at the end of last fight night thread, pre bet's are a lot harder to profit of now, I've noticed a huge change, that's largely down to books just capping the fights better these days, as a few years ago the amount of value was insane, and since it was a relatively new sport you could bet on and still is to some degree, it was harder for them to cap.
the biggest books are generally euro, and back then the knowledge of mma was pretty weak, but after a few years the pre bet and in play odds are getting better (for them) they are learning how to cap better because of people's betting habits and analytics, and not from forum threads like these imo

-200 is not a good odd

care to elaborate? Pennington is a lot more well rounded, has a much better resume of wins than bethe, and despite her numerous losses to some of the top female fighters she is clearly improving at a steady pace, and will be the more tested and experienced fighter. I think her split dec loss to holly was a big motivating factor for her also when holly KO'd ronda. compare that to bethe who at 32 is still a blue belt in jiu jitsu. also raquel is likely faster, more athletic, tougher, bigger. I think she believes in herself more, as proven by the rousey fight where all of bethe's trash talk and confidence turned out to be for the payday.

I hope they release these lines soon, I might request it for a few bookies, I can't see the line on betvictor so i assume it's been pulled, not a good sign for RP backers lol would of taken -125 for sure.

Shit they pulled the line? God damn!

yeah... kicking myself i missed that, I checked loads of other books too and can't see any extra lines that aren't already out yet.. on the brightside it might be a blessing in disguise for my betvictor account as I'm super paranoid they are going to limit me to pennies

Not much value at -200

Would better go for Texeira at similar odd

I have a question for anyone familiar with Michael Graves who is fighting Randy Brown:

How good is his wrestling? Does he have a background of any type? I've only seen Graves fight once in that TUF finale and he just grounded his opponent pretty much. I don't watch TUF so I don't know what's his game like other than that fight. I think Randy Brown could come in as a favorite here and I'm willing to bet the dog if so. I don't think too highly of Randy's ground game is where I'm getting at.

Its ok. I personally don't think its good enough to consistently grind Brown out. If the over comes at a good price, thats what i'm looking to play. Otherwise i'm thinking Brown by dec.

Ferguson vs Khabib seems like the perfect fight to live bet on. So save your money.

I'm going hard on Fergie! But definitely, I'll watch to Live-Bet... except not in the way you think lol.

If Khabib wins that first round I might UP my bet on Fergie.

Of course to my discretion, if Tony looks helpless on the mat, then I probably won't but I don't expect that to happen.

(in fact I already have XX units on Ferg. Yikes!)

i'm on ferg as well. think most of the casual fans outside specialist forums like this will be on khabib.

more cash for us.

I always bet Ferg and hes a bettors nightmare in terms of heart palpatations! Im sure in this fight he will do some stupid shit where he ends up on bottom but hes dangerous everywhere. Im big on Ferg this fight.
