I will for sure be on Stipe if I can get him as a big dog. He has bigger reach than Cain and can fight from the outside. He doesn't have to engage in Werdums strong clinch game which Cains style and reach kinda forces him to do.

Another thing to note is that when they were not clinching, Cain stood right in front of Werdum all the time. Stipe is gonna cut more angles. It will be harder for Werdum to be effective with that sloppy front kick that he used a lot vs Cain.

I like Werdum here (would have bet him against Cain) but won't play him at -500. Could end up on Stipe if gets bet down to +300 or so.

Hmmm. If saturday goes well, and the line doesn't move past -215, I think Werdum is worth that juice and i'll lay it down

    man, i'm not so sure.

i had BIG money last time on werdum vs cain, one of my top wins of the year. i was already on werdum in rematch at +140.

and i know cain is regarded more highly than stipe, but honestly, not by me...

short notice is an issue for sure for stipe, but i personally think this fight is maybe a little harder than cain.. cain is so sloppy...

stipe much more calculated.. has shown he can go 5 rounds... i think i'm gonna end up on stipe if +200 or higher.

and i fucking LOVE werdum, for the record, just not sure on this fight / this price.

Definitely a different fight than Cain. Werdum was always a horrible matchup for Cain imo. I'm just not sure I see anyway for Stipe to win other than keeping Werdum at the end of jabs and crosses, and its not going to be easy doing that to Werdum for 25 mins. Werdum obviously has the much better ground game, hes better in the clinch, and even at boxing range I expect him to do fairly well. Couple those things with the short notice and its hard for me not to heavily favor Werdum.

i dont think the short notice will have a big if any factor at all.. stipe just fought 3 weeks ago and kept training after according to his twitter. i am with Ez on this one i think stipe is a tougher fight for werdum stylisticly
