Askham KO +100 / Daniel Omie -120 is my parlay for tomorrow.

I think it has a solid chance of hitting. Askham has every motivation to go for that finish. A decision simply isn't good enough to get him by here. He needs the finish because he was labeled as one of UK's top prospects going into the UFC and he's had a couple of competitive close decision losses BUT has shown what he can do to land the KO. What better stage than a card in YOUR hometown on a card featuring Bisping and Anderson? Add to the fact, he's fighting a guy who has a lowlight reel of KO losses. It should be slaughter to the lambs to showcase UK's rising talent with similar bouts like Tom Breese being fed poor Nakamura.

Daniel Omie is fighting a guy in HIS debut who started MMA at the ripe old age of 28 with a powerlifting background. Holy shit I was actually joking about him looking like a night club bouncer in a previous post and it turns out I read his recent interview saying he worked as a bouncer lol. Meanwhile Omelette over here was competing in local Muay Thai tournaments. I'm not talkign down on Danho's skills I'm just saying, a guy making his UFC debut with a huge amount of inexperience compared to Omie's 4 UFC fights and has had 17 more pro MMA fights than he has. I'll just say this, I've really only 1 fight of Dano's which was that one somewhere in this thread, and you can clearly see that he's inexperienced in BJJ when the dude from bottom got up and he TOOK dano's big ass down and that dude landed in side control easily which is Omelette's favorite position. You may be concerned that this is a HW fight and that it only takes 1 punch, true. As Bob Barker would say, The price is right -120.

lil bit worried about so many people on omie... don't get me wrong, my only plays on that fight are small on omie no judges and even smaller on danho dec..

just seems like a LOT of us are on omie. and the dude isn't trustworthy. he can be lnp'd very easily (and danho goes for tds).. and the only ufc win he had before that ko last fight was a fight he was down 2 rounds vs a smaller dude... and he put on more weight here, like 10 lbs more than usual, right? (i'll double-check that if i'm wrong..) - i'm just worried.

Don't get me wrong, i'm worried too, even though everyone else being on him has instilled a bit more confidence. If this were any division but HW these guys would be nowhere near the UFC, so a loss would not shock me in this one.

I do like Omie. But I think a lot of us on Omie are also on the over. I think it's sort of a built in pseudo-hedge. I know it's HW but assuming Danho does go for td's it's pretty unlikely he finishes Omie based on what I've seen. I think Omie could possibly finish but could also just stuff some sloppy td attempts and outwork Danjo for a dec win.

I'm not playing this one too big either but Omie and the over seem like a good match to play on this fight.

i actually thought aksham was too short when i first saw the lines, but after seeing that size difference at the weigh ins and imagining how that will benefit akshams style, godamn. tailed rebel lions parlay for £10

I just don't see how anyone could be betting against Makwan. He looked like a cat playing with an injured mouse when toying with Guerin. He was calm under pressure in that fight, as well as vs. Duquesno (nasty brabo BTW). His shots are explosive, going for doubles and singles. He also has good grappling and trips. Combine that with explosive athleticism (i.e. flying knee), a 2-3" height advantage, and a great assortment of ways to finish (bicep slicer anyone?), and this doesn't seem close. His plan is clearly to take Wilkinson down and sub him.

Meanwhile, Wilkinson has a bad habit of planting his feet when rushed. And he got taken down (and dropped) by fucking Artem Lobov, a guy who definitely prefers to stand and bang. On top of that, he apparently has a low fight IQ - why in the hell would he take down Rony Jason?

Makwan will sub Wilkinson. Book it.

I like Khabilov and Ashkam ITD, but only have spare money to bet one. Which do you believe has the best chance at a finish? Leaning Ashkam, but I'm hesitant. I can never unsee the death by suplex unleashed by Khabilov.

Askham for sure over Khabilov. But the odds show that as well. I quite like Askham to get the finish and think Parke may even win the other fight.

One of the few times I've taken a weighin completely seriously. He looked at Breese like "wtf is this"

I mean Omi SHOULD win, but heavyweight is heavyweight. You can't deny the value in a 4 fight vet vs a complete unknown however.

Does anyone like Parke @ +200? I've put 1u on it, Rustam has been so on off.
