* James Lynch reported that Aspen Ladd declined a fight with Felicia Spencer at 145, and asked for Peña at 265 instead. Peña declined (duh), so she's fighting a lower ranked opponent, who should be fighting at featherweight anyway. So much for "I'm willing to take short notice fights at 145", she's going to fight another woman who drains herself to make 135, with not much to gain from beating her, instead of putting herself in immediate title contention at Featherweight, and not risking her health with a horrible cut again. Dumb. Meanwhile Holly Holm is doing the smart thing: Moving up after being away for a year, and making a statement that she's here for Nunes whether it's at 135 or 145. Ladd would rather drain herself to compete in a weight class she has trouble making, and with two juggernauts ahead of her (GDR, Holm). Bye girl.

Many of you know I was a fan during TUF and when she was trying to heal her injuries afterward.

Eventually It wasn't fair to her opponents when she was pulling out of fights.

Hope she does well personally and professionally.

I tend to agree with Dana in that she needs to find something else to do with her life. She can always say she was a UFC champion, not many people can say that.

Atleast she's got that Modelo money to fall back on.
Sad tale for someone who showed promise on tuf, I was wondering if her tuf champion contract kept her from being cut but I guess not.
