Made some $$$ tonight but admittedly playing Branch and Vinny straight up weren't the smartest bets. This long UFC break is killing me.

    ---

i had abu vs davis as:
    10-9 abu clear
    10-9 davis clear
10-9 davis SUPER close. he finished strongly and the 30 seconds WAS a lot more valid than the first 4:30, BUT davis did NOTHING for the first four mins. abu at least threw strikes etc. i was pretty sure davis would get it but i actually don't think this was a bad decision.

    magalhaes-heun i had as
    10-9 magalhaes close
    10-9 magalhaes clearly
    10-9 heun clearly
and i feel pretty square for betting vinny even tho he won. he's not a guy you should pretty much ever lay -200 on. i know heun pretty well but still.

fitch-zef went pretty much as expected. lil upset w/myself for hedging the fitch decision play.
    50-45 was accurate

branch-starks also went like i thought.
49-44 was how i scored it, too. 9-9 2nd w/the point deduction and 10-8 5th. good to see judges all do 10-8 there.
i just thought starks would quit in the 4th or 5th. he kept wanting to do it but every time he starting turning over to give up (conor-style against diaz, give that back and tap!), he turned back. boooo.

i'll take it. branch ITD would've been a lot better, but solid wsof result after a good win on araujo on friday.

...too bad the profits from the weekend are going away instantaneously, as my ps4 got fried during a storm tonight. so fucking mad.

no way it was obvious; heun had been tapped 4 times in 4 losses and 2 times on tuf. and vinny had 13 wins as a pro and all 13 were finishes

that was weird. i agree. but i think he realized it afterwards, i had branch bets and i think it was a legit point deduction (tho i hate the inconsistency of warnings vs point deductions)

Dammit dogs, lost at Heun and Davis Jr but made some back at Fitch. Really thought Heun would beat Vinni... Oh well, can't wait to have UFC to bet on again so I can make money.

    Yeah paid $215.

But I had Branch itd that cut into some of it. Did hit Branch -5.5 though.

I had a great night not gonna complain. Fitch by dec was my biggest bet.

I thought Davis could easily have gotten the decision in the first main card fight . Starks made that main event surprisingly competitive. Some profit is better than no profit.

    WSOF 30
    Risk $1064.97

David Branch (-245) vs Clifford Starks $245.00 for $100.00= $100.00
David Branch wins inside distance (-102) $51.00 for $50.00= -$51.00
    David Branch/Clifford Starks Under 3½ (+100) $100.00 for $100.00= -$100.00
Jon Fitch (-230) vs Joao Zeferino $115.00 for $50.00= $50.00
    Jon Fitch -5½ points (-150) vs Joao Zeferino $75.00 for $50.00= $50.00
Jon Fitch wins by 5 round decision (+268) vs Joao Zeferino $50.00 for $134.00= $134.00
Joao Zeferino scorecards = no action (+462) vs Jon Fitch $25.00 for $115.50= Cancelled
Jake Heun (+250) vs Vinny Magalhaes $40.00 for $100.00= -$40.00
    Jake Heun/Vinny Magalhaes Over 1½ (+142) $40.00 for $56.80= $56.80
Danny Davis Jr. (+300) vs Abu Azaitar $75.00 for $225.00= -$75.00
Danny Davis Jr. +3½ points (+170) vs Abu Azaitar $35.00 for $59.50= $59.50
Danny Davis Jr. wins by 3 round decision (+520) $20.00 for $104.00= -$20.00
    Danny Davis Jr./Abu Azaitar Under 1½ (+145) $68.97 for $100.00= -$68.97
    Matthew Frincu (+600) vs Abubakar Nurmagomedov $25.00 for $150.00 = -$25.00

    Parlay:
    Jon Fitch/Joao Zeferino Over 2½ (-210) + David Branch (-245) vs Clifford Starks $100.00 for $107.87= $107.87
