i've got 3 kids around that age, its a battle i can no longer win..all of them think its ok to wear leggins dressed as jeans

Yeah, I guess that's just the way it goes, but you should still make fun of them.

I've got 9 & 10 year old daughters, so I will be dealing with similar stuff soon.

So kids these days go through the whole HS without a fight. Then they think they can fuck with a 40 year old man thats twice their size. It could be a lesson learned, but more likely the little young fucker will do what he can to get a gun now since he got trashed in a fight.
