I feel bad for Schaub because he's been robbed of his greatest accomplishment.

He proved that a goofy football player with 3 years of training could knock Mirko Cro Cop stiff, yet many on Sherdog refuse to accept it and we still have to read posts about how Crocop would be champion today.

He gave us some good fights and was often pretty entertaining.

I don't watch his pod-stuffs so my opinion of him is undiluted.

If he was fighting in today's Heavyweight division, he would probably do the same... Entertain us with some pretty good athleticism and get KO'd enough to keep him from the very top...

Not really a journeyman... Not really Elite.... But a solid gatekeeper if you interpret the term as the kind of guy that if you beat him, you might merit a top 5 guy.
