Like I said in my previous post. I'm all for standing up to police brutality, but what the fuck are these people proving by blocking traffic, stomping on cop cars, kicking passing vehicles, and hollering at good cops and people that never did anything wrong in a small city that has zero history of police brutality 500 miles away?

The cop has also been charged and fired, so the chants of no peace no justice don't even make any sense. If they want to gather in front of the post office or court house that's fine, but the cringey part is that most of them are just doing this because it's trendy. If you can't see that and think my position is unreasonable then maybe you are the one that needs the the "do-over."

We've got protests here in the UK over this. Our police aren't even armed. They are not allowed to carry guns (only a very select few). The last time anyone in the UK was killed by the fucking police, it was an armed drug dealer who was ambushed essentially. The time before that, was another armed drug dealer. Both of them happened to be not white, who cares - they could have been blue for all I care, they were armed and therefore were asking for trouble.

The incident itself is a disgrace and there's a horrific problem in THE USA with police brutality and police killings. Laws and behaviours aren't going to change in Minneapolis, Minnesota because 40-50 socially conscious young people have gathered to chant in fucking Maidstone, England or somewhere.

This is cringey as fuck. Overall this is a pretty peaceful town there has only been a few murders in the last 50 years and the crime rate is very low here. There also has never been an issue with police brutality here, and there has definitely never been any cases of cops murdering black people.

The university here made a top 25 list as one of the safest schools in the country when it comes to violence, rapes, and hate crimes. The protesters aren't really doing any harm besides a few people stomping on cop cars and blocking traffic, but I don't think they really know what they're gathering about.

What's cringey as fuck is thinking like yours that think this starts and ends at race.
