in 1999, Jerry Garcia was long dead, his band mate, Phil Lesh had a new band, Phil and Friends. He had his band and would have, as you might guess, friends come play. in April two stars joined him, Trey and Page. Trey plays guitar, Page keyboards. this was 3 nights people dreamed of. the venue, The Warfield, San Francisco, CA. On these nights, magic happened.

I really like that version of Sugaree from the first bunch.

And I just know I'm gonna bawl my eyes out when I get to Stella Blue from the second bunch. Always reminds me of my mom. Also a really good version of that song.
