Ok I'll bite. Condit had a lot of trouble with guys like Ellenberger, Hendricks and Woodley. Big strong wrestlers with a lot of power. I think he'll struggle with Marty.

It wasnt a BS decision lol. Im a Condit fan and he didnt win that fight. He got taking down over and over again. Prime Condit got beat by pretty much every wrestler he faced. He wouldnt stand a chance against Usman

Condit gave GSP his toughest fight - according to him - and actually dropped him with a head kick. lol at doesnt stand a chance vs Usman.

Kim, Rory, Ellenberger, Larsson or Miura were all capable wrestlers, Condit beat them all.
Condit got taken down, so what if he was still beating his opponent in the ground. Actually delivered way more strikes and damage than he took. If he had gotten the decision nobody would complain.
So yeah, Condit in his prime would stand a chance. I'd not favour him though, but could give Usman one of his toughest fights by far... even if he gets taken down.

I love Condit, but... I just don't think that's true. Condit/Usman would probably look somewhat similar to Condit/GSP. I'm sure Condit would make it an entertaining fun fight as he always did, but Usman's wrestling and strength would be too much for him. Usman wins a decision.

No. Condit's BJJ, though slick, would get completely shutdown. Just because he has some wins off the mat doesn't mean he'll win against folk who are ground experts. It just means he can beat some folk who are just ok on the ground, not beat specialists whose intent are to put him there and grind him out. He's more like a Diaz or Silva type. Serviceable grappling, but have heavy striking approaches. Elite grapplers are their kryptonite. Ok or opportunistic grapplers won't fare as well against Condit. But a guy like Usman would make Condit look like a wet noodle.

Considering he’s one of the best ww fighters to ever do it, yes, he’s got a chance at beating him. He was probably the closest to beating GSP at his peak and in some people’s eyes, he beat Hendricks pre-decline.

Maybe... I can't think of a single time Usman was rocked in his UFC career. He hasn't been hit hard too much, but he definitely has a chin. Either way, Usman wouldn't try and strike with Condit as GSP did at times in that fight, so there probably wouldn't be a headkick. He'd go to the wrestling early and often.
