Not just championship fights, but any fight. I mean, if you bet $100 on Valentina you get just $106. If you put $100 on Eye you get $915.

Serious question as i haven't seen her fight: Is Jessica Eye that bad?

Valentina is one of the best female fighters ever. Jessica is mediocre. Odds look right.

Another mis-match up.

New promo for Client - Jessica Eye. Footage shot by Michael Mardones aka Layzie The Savage.

Unispiring when taking on one of WMMA's best.

The Rousey/Holm odds were slightly more lopsided at +525/-1650. But it's close.

Eye is not that bad. She earned her number one contender ranking by winning her last three fights. In this division she rarely gets submitted or knocked out.

Do I think Valentina will win? Yes. Do I think Eye has a decent shot? Yes. How would Jessica win? Most likely by taking the fight the distance. Except for the can that Val crushed she isn't known as a ko artist.

Dude, her "three fight winning streak" was

1. A split decision over Kalindra Faria, who is 0-3 in the UFC, stopped in the first round against her other two opponents (Calderwood and Maria Romero), but arguably beat Eye and hurting her badly in the striking (knockdown from a kick) before Eye found refuge in the grappling.

2. A decision victory over a Jessica Rose-Clark who hasn't improved in over 5 years and probably shouldn't be in the UFC.

3. A 50/50 split decision over Katelyn Chookagian which would be more impressive if Chookagian didn't have 50/50 decisions against Maria Romero, Aldana, and Alexis Davis before that.

None of this is impressive. Eye barely beat the bottom of the barrel in her division in Faria, which some people thought Faria won or was a draw.

The only CLEAR win she had was Rose-Clark.

Someone like Andrea Lee would beat the holy hell out of Eye. Lucie Pudilova would have a good shot against her.

Define "decent shot". If you think it's even 20%, then you can make a fortune betting on Eye at any sportsbook.

Mirko Cro Cop vs Eddie Sanchez

People forget how hyped Mirko was

Winning the UFC belt was going to be "easy" for him

True but my point is that she hasn't been finished in those fights. High volume pressure fighting against Val could be Jessica's strategy. See what Amanda told Eye in the last embedded episode. Basically that Val doesn't hit hard and she hates pressure.Yes I'd say around 20%. How about you?

I don't bet. My brother did well at it until he didn't. I do fine investing.

What's your fight prediction?

Yeah, that worked out so well for Holly Holm, who is twice the fighter Eye is, with way better cardio and grappling, and is much larger than either woman.

I don't watch UFC fluff, but don't you find it silly that someone who arguably lost to Valentina in her last outing is giving a much worse, smaller fighter "advice" on how to beat her she couldn't implement herself?

About 5-10%. Valentina would have to be dealing with severe/multiple injuries and sicknesses, turn in the worst performance of her career, and/or randomly injure herself during the fight.
