Lets make it 2 winning events in a row!!!!!!!!!!!1
Had a fun bet of 1.2u on Strickland at about -1000 after round 2, leaving me at +1.75u for the night.
My read on Cutelaba vs. Jacoby was absolutely perfect, right down to thinking Cutelaba might well dominate round 1 but fade afterwards, but alas, I couldn't profit on it.
BetOnline was annoying as usual, eating some good live-bets, especially Michailidis by decision at -220 after round 2, and MAYBE I should have just pulled the trigger on Carolina at +190 after round 2 despite certain reservations (Botelho did indeed win round 2 on one card, as I feared, and was a little bit of technique away from not being swept after the takedown), but in terms of pre-bets, I'm kicking myself for not hitting Giga earlier in the week, even without fully taping, and also not adding to Jiri when he inexplicably hit +105 or so. No clue who was betting Reyes at less than plus numbers.
Anywho, I made some unposted winning plays on PFL this week. I'm mainly just hoping to have more free time to tape more fights.
However, I don't think you have anything to complain about with the push on Jacoby-Cutelaba. (And I was rooting for Jacoby since Cutelaba was a scumbag at the face-offs) Cutelaba won round 1 10-8 and arguably won round 3, which was very close. Moreover, Jacoby probably should have been deducted an additional point at the end of round 1, but lucked out with having Mark Smith ref the bout, who almost never deducts points, even after repeated violations.
