Ringside heritage 84$

I personally like the gloves. I love lace-ups. I also am an older man and am influenced by “old school” gear.

I have an 18oz pair of Ringside lace up Heritage and I really like them. I use them as a sparring glove though I’m 57 and don’t spar as much as I used to. They are really broken in well and have lots of padding over the knuckles. When I first got them they were hard and needed breaking in. I used them on a 125 lb Everlast heavy bag for about 1 month and they were fine. Also, they were very tight on my hands with regular wraps and very tight on my right thumb between the first knuckle and my wrist. I have several pairs of Mexican gloves though so I was used to it and they molded to my hands after I sweat in them. Really good leather and lots of padding over the knuckles. They’re great for catching shots and when you shell up, they are great absorbing the punches. Good wrist support but like I said. Small hand compartments. I am 180 lbs/ 80 kilos and have unusually large hands so like I said, I was used to it. Here are some pictures of my gloves.
