RIP Eddie Money

I mentioned elsewhere on here how I listened to him quite a bit growing up but no much since. But hearing the news today I've been playing some of his hits and can still remember most of the words. The guy could write a song.

I think I got hard over some chick in the Shaking video

... is it a Hispanic looking chick who dives from a board into a pool?

How many artists write their own songs anymore? He enigmatically captured the zeitgeist of his time.

He made some great music, sad to hear he passed away. RIP.

"Take Me Home Tonight" was hands down his best song. Absolutely awesome.

RIP

I grew up on this, never bought any of his music, but I never turned the station when it came on

RIP. Grew up listening to him too.

He was hitting the casino circuit hard over the past few years.

Made a lot of great music, has one of those voices that bring you back to a specific era in music, he had a recent concert on AXS I think the other day right after he passed, sounded good live.
Baby Hold On is a great great song.

Enjoyed his music. Happy he got sober and enjoyed his later years. Shitty way to go

mentioned already I met him once in a 7 11 in Oakland.
I was a rookie on "grave"yard patrol (right?) inside the store when he
walked in with a brassy blonde chick. He was driving a bright red T top
Firebird and had the hair and business going on.
he was from NY, like me, so I say 'Yo, Eddie whats up?"
he was so polite and friendly, telling me to be safe, etc.
class guy all the way.
