Caleb Plant is free and clear to enter a voluntary title defense for his next fight although steps are already in place to determine his next mandatory challenger.

Fächer Sport Management GmbH claimed promotional rights to the IBF super middleweight title elimination bout between Evgeny Shvedenko and Aidos Yerbossynuly. The Germany-based outfit—who represents Shvedenko—submitted a winning offer of $301,588 during a purse bid hearing held Thursday afternoon, both onsite and via Zoom conference call as conducted from IBF headquarters in Springfield, New Jersey.

The bid outpaced an offer of $180,000 submitted by Suleimen Promotions, who represents Yebossynuly.

Undefeated and first half of his name reads “your boss I, no lie”.
That alone deserves a packed Hype train.

Do you think we're looking at one voluntary defense for Caleb and then Canelo? or would this mandatory push his unification with Canelo to 2022?
