Put it this way: fighter X beats fighter Y. In your mind, does that always equal fighter X is a better fighter than fighter Y?
What you're doing, is a quintessential example of mental gymnastics.
You intentionally threw in the word "always" because you know that it has to be an absolute consistent result in many different runs in order for that to be the case. I can tell how you're trying to manipulate semantics.
He didn't say "I'm ALWAYS going to be able to fight better than she does".
But it's obvious why you threw that in there. We have an entire sport based off of guys fighting and determining who the better fighter is from the result.
If fighter X beats fighter Y, that means that fighter X is the better fighter for the time being. It doesn't mean that it'll always be that way, AND IT DOESN'T NEED TO, AS HE WAS NOT SAYING THAT. (Crazy that this actually needs to be explained to someone.)
Going by what you're saying, no one is better than anyone because it can't be proven that someone is always going to be better than the other person. In that case, you're getting into some almost abstract conversation.
It's so ridiculous how some of you will go through such great lengths to perform these mental gymnastics just because you can admit that you were wrong.
That's all I'm gonna say. If you really wanna convince yourself otherwise, by all means, but the rest of us will live in reality.
