Does anyone else feel like fight of the year generally has to be a title fight? The stakes always make it feel so much more epic to me.

Weili/Joanna and Fig/Moreno was on of the best fights last year and both of the fights are Title Fights

hah- yeah. not the best pick. but he my boy! probably current fav fighter on the roster now that yoel left the ufc. so to see him come back and do that 2 years after max putting on a striking clinic against him was incredible to watch. very one sided indeed. and its not as if i like this fight because i dont like kz or anything, nothing of that at all.

Poirier vs Hooker for sure. The blood, the raw sounds of fists touching bone and flesh, and the fact that it’s one of the best LW fighters in the world battling adds to it as LW is the best division.

Yeah that's why I think it's so funny, but also terrible for MMA at the same time. Two small women without technique, making sounds similar to female tennis players every time they throw a punch without power. I honestly I can't believe I've watched parts of that fight. There's maybe only 1-2 fights on the list I haven't watched.

The Spike vs. Billy one I haven't watched.. And the midget fight I've skipped through parts and it gives me the same kind of vibes as the WMMA freak show except they have decent technique at least.
