To think I bet on the one armed fighter to beat Gaethje a few years ago.

    Michael Johnson has better boxing.

Ferg can match cardio and chaos though.

I love this guy and wanna see him fight until I die.

Only these guys can beat him:

    McGregor
    Nurmagomedov
    Ferguson
    Barboza
    Lee

Gave back 2.25u of tonights profits betting R1 KO and U 1.5 in the main event. Still made a lot on the co-main, so feeling good. Finally a non break even'ish event for me. +6.27u on the night.

Looking forward to tomorrow, will be way less tired and hopefully be able to spot more good livebetting lines!

Grats to the winners, get 'em back tomorrow to the losers and gn fellas. I love this fucking sport.

MJ was working the body hard and wore Gaethje out too. But Gaethje did an amazing job imposing his gameplan regardless of the fury MJ was putting on him.

You're probably right. It turned out for the best for him too.

Are you talking about the head butt 40 seconds in? Not sure even how to respond to that. The first 40 seconds showed Johnson already getting into haymaker exchanges. Not what he wanted to do at all, and very little significance happening.

MJ looked good, and he didn't wilt. He got wobbled several times. He could have been out of it much earlier. I thought that against Khabib too though. He used to get labeled as a guy that could give up quickly, but he can hang.

Yep..I knock out is coming sooner or later. The thing is though, he's pretty fucking athletic and can take a monstrous porch so it's difficult to fade him even against top level competition. It would take and equally athletic, equally hardheaded, equally "don't give a fuck attitude" fighter with great wrestling and great grappling and endless cardio to make sure you get the win on JG ...Tony Ferguson comes to mind LOL What a fucking war that would be!

Johnson's boxing fundamentals are not better than Ferguson's.

Ferguson has a better guard, crisp straight punches and uppercut and better footwork. Johnson has faster hands but not better boxing.

**EDIT** Unless you are saying Johnson has better boxing that Gaethje, in which yes I'd agree.

Yeah he tagged Justin at will before that. He got stunned hard by that headbutt and Justin hit him with a knee and three punch combination right after that. MJs foot work dissapeared and he was flat footed the rest of the fight.
