woodley really blew it there with his bad fight iq. he lnp or grapples on the fence for two minutes against a wounded thompson he wins the 4th 10-8 and conserves his energy and possibly wins round five on one of the judges scorecard to secure the win.

It was close in the beginning obviously, and again after Woodley's first adjustment where Thompson was somewhat panicked & started squirming a bit. After that Woodley didn't have it I agree.

Wonderboy did nothing significant in that round, and looking back over half of the punches he threw while on top he landed on the mat. Woodley whooped him that round.

Dude I don't give a crap what you or someone else thinks about me on the internet. If someone gets their feelings hurt by me calling them a fool I feel bad for them. Plekz isn't one of those dudes, he's always strong with his opinions, and I respect that. He's hurt more feelings in this forum then I think anyone else, and I respect that as well. If he thinks I'm a dumbass that's cool as well.

Ffs man stop whining. Of course it's a spectacle. MMA has never been more spectacular to watch than it is now. Obviously that doesn't mean it isn't a very serious & competitive sport at the same time.

If what's happening in it offends you that much then stop watching it.

Love these, we underappreciate the content the UFC puts out

These always make me cringe at the damage these people actually take

Agree. If you're gonna get dubs (and then run to EZ to have the random mod that stopped by and gave them take them off) you do it the way Joe B and I did. You clog up a thread debating something completely off topic.

Dubs for childish personal insults=Da Heavies
Dubs for going on for a few pages on random tangents and hypothetical fights (dubs given of course by mods who enter this forum at the most bi-annually)=MMA betting forum.

Gotta know where you are guys. Get your dubs the RIGHT way please.

I agree. i still like wb in a rematch. i think wb can adjust to woodley but woodley kinda already showed his hand.

Overall i think wb can learn more from their first outing than twood.

What we saw was the best t wood ever and a pretty average wb....and the result was still a draw...

I think if Woodley fights the same way he did, he loses more often than not. His inactivity makes it difficult for him to win rounds on the feet. I'd like to see him implement his wrestling more in a rematch. He controlled Wonderboy so easily on the ground in the first round without expending too much energy.

I would hammer WB at evens. He lost the first round cause of a dumb mistake throwing the blind round kick to the leg, and the fourth he got caught. Much more correctable mistakes than the 3 rounds in which Woodley just got thoroughly out struck.

The biggest issue for WB was having that kick caught in the first and subsequently being stuck under Woodley for the remainder of the round. That kick being caught really made him hesitate on unleashing his full arsenal. He needs to let his strikes go in a rematch. Woodley was static with his back to the cage just like i knew he would be, but WB never made him pay for it as he hesitated too much.

Hell yeah i agree not paying juice on wb after that shit show. Assuming after the draw they open near evens and i will still take wb for 2u or so.
