But you aren't even being honest with yourself about what happened with those 4 Common opponents.

Let alone the blatant "mma math" hypocrisy you're trying to sell.

What I really don't understand is people saying Ferg did better vs. RDA than Khabib. The objective in MMA is to win as clearly as possible. RDA literally didn't come close to winning a round vs. Khabib, and RDA won two with Ferg winning due to the last round. Ferg was literally down 29-28 after 3 rounds while Khabib was up 30-27. So it's strange to see using that as a point as well as disregarding the Johnson fight.

In reality, they are pretty much 2 and 2 with common opponents. Khabib doing better vs. RDA and Johnson and Ferg doing better vs. Tibau and Abel. And keep in mind that Abel really had zero effective offense vs. Khabib, so that's even a strange one to use.

How aren't I? Ferg decimated Tibau and Trujillo and smashed RDA up. MJ c'mon he broke his arm r1 and was out for 18 months cos of it. That's a severe injury. If anything carrying on for three rounds shows how insane Ferg's mental fortitude is.

Why don't you go back to touting Randy Brown or Brunson. That worked well for you.

If it was a 3 round fight rda would have won a dec, and he is in here acting like ferg smashed him and khabib didnt.

And let's not forget that Abel had success in round 1 vs ferg too.

RDA did not win r3. Yes the judges awarded it to him but only because they forgot the first three minutes. Look at the sig strikes it was 44-30. Ferg busted RDA up, did more damage and had him hurt Kebab did none of that.

You cannot use if it was 3 rounds RDA would have won a decision. Firstly Ferg won r3 the judges forgot about the first 3 mins. Secondly i am sure Ferg and even RDA would have fought differently if it was a 3 round fight. Both especially Ferg would have been far more urgent.

Kebab didn't smash him. He controlled him for most the fight.

You guys every fight is its own unique entity, especially when studying the completely different styles of Ferg and Khab. Common opposition doesn't mean much.

Sure I can, it instantly disproves your "ferg smashed RDA" premise.

If you want to ignore reality and lie to yourself to feel better about your bet, that's your choice.

Wonderboy ko/dec +100 at bet365, compared to his moneyline at -161. That's a lot of extra juice for the possibiity of a submission

The one thing you keep ignoring is that the goal of a fight is to win and do it as convincingly as possible. A big part of that is not letting your opponent win a round or have successful offense. This idea of "smashing him" is just silly. Ferg didn't get a 10-8 round, a finish, or anything like that. He won a decision by one point on all cards in a 5 round fight. Khabib won a decision by 3 points on all 3 cards in a 3 round fight. Those are facts.

This goes back to something that has been discussed in MMA forever. A finish, damage, smashing him, etc. is not going to always be a better result in a fight than a decision. The goal of a fight is to win and a large part of winning is negating any offense your opponent has. That's what Khabib has done in all fights besides Tibau. I'm not sure how you can fault that. GSP made a very successful career out of that.

Want to bet Godbeer now. Was leaning his way anyways, but the fact that Spitz management team thought it was worthwhile to sign him against a 2-7 opponent doesn't speak volumes for where they think his game is at and competetion level should be at, at this point in his development..

Regional fighters are usually desperate for money. He was probably looking for an easy payday.

This fight is a tough one. Both guys can finish (Spitz with knees, Godbeer with hands), and Spitz has terrible takedowns so Godbeer will probably be able to stay up. Godbeer has the experience, but Spitz most likely the better tank.
