Ive actually just gone and rewatched the fight

Rumble done much better than i remembered

Im actually changing my pick to rumble, he clearly beat DC on the feet.

The grappling was a wash but i attribute that to rumbles cardio. Plus most of the wrestling positions rumble gave him by being sloppy due to over eagerness to finish and other times tiredness. Rumble also managed to stuff a few while he was fresh, but once hes down on his back he has 0 ju jitsu.

Surely rumble has spent the last 2 years since that fight working hardcore on his wrestling seems though the two top dogs have great wrestling

I thought wash meant a domination in favour of one party

Im guessing it actually means it was quite even ?

yeah bro think so but had to look it up just to be sure

I guess you could call a domination a wash aswell, english is my third language so Im not really sure

    Definition of it's a wash
    1. —used to say that something is equal and that one side does not have an advantage You won the first game and I won the second, so it's a wash.

You're correct. Saying something was a wash means that it was equal or even.

However, saying someone will get/got washed would mean they are going to/were dominated. For example, "Vitor is going to get washed by Gastelum tonight".

Strong early leans on Usman? Sean Strickland is the real deal.

Hes good, but Usman prob future title challenger. Wouldn't be surprised if Strickland can't stop one td.

The biggest thing for me is that DC obviously is not getting the same level of training at AKA. Cain was the guy that pushed him and Cain ain't fuking going hard with him. Factor in DC is more a commentator now, he's getting old, he looked kinda bad vs silva(especially standing) and I just think that AJ can make minor adjustments from the last fight while DC gonna DC.

This has basically been the story of Rumbles entire career. Extremely dangerous, but if you can survive/avoid the striking and grapple with him, he wears out and then looks for a way out.

I really, really, really want Rumble to win. But the only justification I can think of is the classic punchers chance, combined with the inevitable age based decline that's going to hit DC sooner or later. I think I'm going to avoid this one, or just bet no scorecards.

If Usman wanted to have sex with Strickland, I don't think Strickland could stop him.

i'm so sold on AJ now. i'll live bet DC if needed, but i think AJ is gonna ko him this time. DC is pulling out of fights, i think he's gonna start to decline soon.. AJ +100 is the # i wanted, and i got it, so i'm doing it. gonna be a pretty big bet.

NOT Cormier sub is -150 right now on 5d. I'm already pretty big on Rumble but I had to add more to this.
