I know that I am in the minority but I think Manuwa/Volk is highly competitive and I actually slightly lean Volk.

I think Volk lands at least 1 td in this fight and uses a heavy kicking attack to make up for his significant reach disadvantage. In a primarily striking heavy approach at LHW, I'm usually going to favor the younger athlete with the presumably better chin.

People have brought up Volkans cardio concerns which are valid, but every indication from his social media is that he is working on strength and conditioning a lot.

This could be a good fight to LB

i think that there is a very good chance that knights eye is not healed and the first strike that lands clean is going to break it open.

Jones split/maj +766. If you think this is gonna be competitive...worth a stab? I snagged DC split/maj when it spiked to +1220, now I think Jones also has value.

Cyborg sub +775. Not her (Cyborg's) M.O. obviously, but of Evinger's 5 losses, 4 are by sub (3 by RNC). Granted a long time ago, but it's not that hard to envision her getting lit up, going down, and gifting her back. Maybe Cyborg wants to show some grappling? I can't remember, but this line might have actually gotten worse too. I have a feeling I saw +900 or something and for some reason didn't hit it then. I still think there might be a little value here.

Manuwa rd 3 +1200. If you believe Oez will gas if it goes on too long, it's not hard to see a late stoppage by Jimi. I can see it happening if neither guy lands something really big early on.

Manuwa is a turtle from his back so that would be a smart gameplan

Im just amazed at how Oezdemir closed at +400 against Cirkunov, and now he's only +150 against Manuwa. 28 seconds and a lucky punch sure has changed alot.

I had a tiny bet on Oezdemir against Cirkunov, but this time Im fairly big on Manuwa.

that +3.5 spread is definitely worth a shot, fili is capable of derping and giving up a round. i don't see kattar winning the fight on short notice though. fili is better everywhere other than offencive striking (even that is questionable), including cardio.

Knight is a consensus pick among top MMA bettors, sorry it's just business.

I'm 3-0 betting on Knight, underdog everytime.

what does this have to do with knight going into the fight with a pre-existing injury to his eye?

The cut he has looks healed to me, really doubt it opens up. Jason Knight gets cut all the time though, he's got plenty of scar tissue already, I'd be more worried about that.

You've also been banned a couple of times because of your attitude, so why not atleast try to make some adjustments this time around?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Volkan may actually be a bum.

Does anyone know what he tried to give to Manuwa during the weighin?

I would have broken my self imposed limit on props had I seen that. And again, gun to my head, I think Knight wins LOL.

Knight it the kind of kid that will most likely fight harder/better once he sees some of his own blood.

If you could bottle his attitude/view on fighting into every guy on the roster, there would never ever be an event that was less than amazing. The UFC would have a lot more fans imo, and be way better overall.

Unfortunately I think it's just something you either have or you don't. There just aren't that many guys like Knight out there. Win or lose today, he's fast becoming one of my favorites. Not just currently, but since I started following MMA almost 20 years ago.

The cut is in a really bad spot. If it starts bleeding, it will limit his vision significantly

Event props out. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Such lame lines imo. Maybe someone convince me of value. I wanted Knight/Lamas FOTN at solid odds, but it's only +500. Unless it opened higher and some of you beat me to it. Not even gonna bother, that line is trash.

Took small stabs at Woodley fastest KO at +800 and Manuwa +700. If Woodley wins, good chance he just lands a bomb early as Maia closes distance. Cyborg skews these, she's only +175. If we think Evinger hangs in for a bit, I think there's tiny value on these other two. Otherwise I'm seeing absolutely nothing.
