Its ironic for me I thought everyone would be on woodley at -200. I don't see how he gets a strong wrestler like woodley down and with him throwing bombs I think he definitely finishes him within 5 rounds, especially after maias last fight, maybe I'm missing something I haven't been following this thread that much at all

Totall unrelated: You know when you walk over a crossing and a car drives in front of you, like you don't have to stop walking buts it's still annoying cause the car is so close to you? That happend to me today. The driver?

    Ilir Latifi.

sterling NSC is up to +260. kinda doesn't make sense to me. dude's not been finished.. in fact sterling ITD pays the same as barao ITD.

i expect it to push, obviously, but remember, NSC lines are ITD vs ITD. has nothing directly do w/moneylines etc.

half unit added on this (i'm on barao straight at +127 independently for 1.5u)

I agree. Good find. Solid hedge in case Barao is more finished than any of us think and Sterling catches him with one of those lunging strikes he likes to throw.

Yeah, probably a push but good value. Put 1u on it.

Yup, 99% at least. My gym is in the neighborhood he seems to live according to instagram. I was pretty star struck looking up at this supposedly stupid driver who just could have stopped for two seconds, only to realize who it was. Saw one of the Teymur brothers about the time for UFC Stockholm, but this was way cooler.

Maia is crafty and it's been talked about a ton here that even if he doesn't get a TD off his single, he can still snake his way around to Woodley's back off the single leg attempt. His grappling is that good.

And a lot of us doubt Woodley's ability to defend as well as Masvidal and some of the other guys that have survived Maia's grappling.

Colby covington said that Woodley's submisison defense is awful. He said that when they trained together, he was able to catch Woodley in submissions easily, but I don't know how much we can trust his shit talk.

Ilir seems like such a nice guy. I would probably still like him even if he ran me over.

couple units dober here. (the -165 opener). i hope he makes it look easy, but suspect it might be more competitive than the 3:1 etc current odds suggest.

You were replying to my other post but yeah I saw that. And it makes sense to a degree that Woodley's sub defense might not be great. A lot of times that's the last piece of the puzzle for really good wrestlers, especially if it's them defending off their backs. They aren't used to being there, so sometimes they struggle in how to deal with it. If, IF, Maia puts Woodley on his back at any point, it will be very interesting to see what happens. My belief is that Woodley will make a desperate attempt to stand up and Maia will take advantage and get Woodley's back or advance position, possibly on his way to a finish.

Obviously Maia putting Woodley on his back first would need to happen for that to play out, and that is far from certain to happen.
