There's literally no way to predict this sport, you can only try to make extremely educated guesses and you still have to get lucky some of the time.

Not sure why people put so much emphasis/pay for this guys picks.

Looking at the -285 line not bisping it’s as a hedge to my bisping plays

It's more confirmation bias. People want to read that other guys are on their picks to help give them confidence in their pick. Truthfully no one knows and MMA is one of the most contrarian/variance driven sports around. If you ever see anyone picking all favorites you know they likely fucked up.
 
Things I can honestly say I never thought I'd hear:

Joe Rogan questioning if GSP's cardio is good enough to hang in a fight.
 
Will be interesting to see how GSP fights with the added muscle.
 
So happy for Rose and TJ! That's the kind of stuff my MMA enthusiasm has been based on since Sakuraba days. Good guys overcoming the odds.

He doesn't take unnecessary risks, I'll give you that. He bloodied Rory up pretty badly.
