TJ one of the best finishers ever. Such incredible striking. Cejduo can rematch DJ, let's get Dillashaw vs Moraes.

So to note, cody swings wild with his eyes closed whenever he gets hit.

Did TJ get a takedown in that chaos?

Cejudo thinking he can avoid a DJ rematch after that is hilarious though

No one wins instant rematches after losing the belt.
Just this year Joanna, Aldo, and Cody failed.

If they don't do Marlon Moraes vs Killashaw, I'll be one unhappy camper.

It has never been like that. That's just ridiculous. The best guy on the night deserves to be champ.

Damn thought Cody was gonna slow down and pick his shots more this time. Instead he went in swinging wild and got clipped even faster this time. Lost $100 on the O2.5. Cody is not smart enough to be champ.

Yep TJ fights Marlon or maybe Assuncao. DJ vs Cejudo rematch. Then maybe do the superfight.

If you've never heard people saying stuff like that idk where you've been. It wasn't even necessary in that fight but judges are always inclined to favour the existing champ. Just look at GSP vs Hendricks, Machida vs Shogun, Jones vs Gus, DC vs Gus, Rose vs Joanna...

Regardless DJ should of got that lay and pray shouldn't exist in MMA today let alone in a fight like that.

Magic getting the shot is fine by me, but if Dom is healthy they might give it to him. I don't know how much his foot injury affected his performance vs Cody, but at 35 if he's gonna have another big fight it's gonna have to be soon.

Also, I so hope that fat guy absolutely sleeps Greg Hardy. Leg twitching, "holy shit is he dead?" type KO.

To be fair, with the exception of Machida/Shogun I and maybe GSP/Hendricks those fights were probably won by the champs with round by round scoring regardless. I get the "You gotta take the belt away from the champ" philosophy, but with 5 rounds and round by round scoring, that shouldn't really play much of a factor. Just score each round as you see it, as you go. Then total them up at the end. Don't look at it at the end of the fight and say "Well, it was razor close. Better let the champ keep the belt."

That said, I do think DJ won that fight. And Henry made me a boatload of $ getting that dec. But DJ didn't win because he deserved the benefit of the doubt because he was champ. He won because imo he won 3 rounds and Henry only won 2.

To be fair all 3 of them were finished with zero questions about who won.

DJ just lost a very questionable decision.

I posted this right after Cody lost.
I wasnt even talking about Mighty Mouse but I'll dive into further.

Bj penn lost to Frankie by questionable decision. Lost the instant rematch.
Frankie lost to benson by a questionable decision. Lost the instant rematch by a robbery imo.

Cruz can not get the shot. Cruz was supposed to fight Rivera and as usual didnt show up for work. Why reward him now with the shot? They couldnt be that stupid (rhetorical. We know they can be and usually are). Magic v TJ makes sense
