I have:
$100 on Assuncao @ 2.50 (annoyed that I didn't wait)
$50 on DC @1.74
$10 on Romero and Costa GTD @ 3.55

Not particularly convinced that any of the bets are any good...

Good luck fellow degenerates!

A combination of being utterly washed-out from constant tape-watching and betting and also not recognizing many bad lines in the fights I looked at leads to a single pre-bet;

1u on Mazo at +115

Really? So it’s just some unknown amount of money? Why even post about it then? Seems like a standard here so I was curious

Thanks
Everyone has varying bankrolls. So if someone's betting thousands of dollars on a fighter but you bet much less than that, like in $10 increments, it's not very applicable to you. But if they phrase it in units then that conveys the level of confidence in their bet and it's universal.

For example someone has 100k bankroll and they bet 3 units on a fighter, say that's 3% to them so $3000. Your bankroll might be a $1000 so 3 units for you if you wanted to tail him is $30.

I hope that made sense watching the ppv right now so kinda rushed lol.

Exactly correct. Or to put it another way: If a bettor isn't very confident in a play they might put down 1 or 2 units. If they are very confident in a play they might put down 8 or more units. It's a measure of confidence in a bet.

A combination of being utterly washed-out from constant tape-watching and betting and also not recognizing many bad lines in the fights I looked at leads to a single pre-bet;

1u on Mazo at +115

Lost 0.4u on Esquibel at +250 after round 2 but won it back on 0.4u on Kenney after round 1 at +100.

Also put 0.5u on Cormier at -125 and at such a low amount, wasn't about to hedge. +0.65u for the night.

Honestly? I don't regret not betting any of the other fights I taped. (Klose-Giagos, Romero-Costa, Heinisch-Brunson, Pettis-Diaz) Some I would have won, some I would have lost, but none played out in a manner that makes the lines look silly.

Fun to watch the PPV without worrying too much about big money on the line. Anywho, I feel rejuvenated by not watching as much tape this week, and look forward to building the bankroll back up in earnest starting next week.

4u Diaz +100

Biggest I've gone on an event since 229. Pretty confident in these three.
Good fucking Lord. Well done.

Up 2u overall. Crazy stuff, not sure wtf a few guys were doing/ thinking but stayed in profit.

Good fucking Lord. Well done.

After a month and a half of pretty bad bets(I was on Frankie LOL), I felt really strongly towards these three.

Of course, Stipe had me sweating, what a fucking adjustment in round 4. I'd guess he was down 3-0, it'll be interesting to see when the judges scorecards come out.

4.13u

Live-betting and greedy add-ons to DC brings my real total to 1.86u for the night. Better than a loss but stings, probably more than it should, after a real hot start.
