Ya I mean I don't think it's ever happened where one fighter was literally in the cage before the fight was cancelled. Very strange. Maybe the pre-fight nerves and adrenaline caused a spasm.

In one of the strangest situations in recent memory, Skelly (18-3, 1 NC; 7-3, 1 NC UFC) walks out ahead of his match with Emmers (18-5, 1-1 UFC) and prepares himself in the cage. The music for Emmers does not play, and the camera remains on Skelly. After some confusion, the commentators inform the audience that Emmers has suffered serious back spasms backstage and is unable to compete tonight. Announcer Joe Martinez announces that the match has been canceled, and Skelly gives an uncomfortable interview while asking for his win bonus.
