biting on Martin too now that he is down to -160
Jokes on you, it was Women's Fitness
365 have live bet scheduled from the Martin/White fight onwards
Holding back position, especially a bodylock is another form of lay and pray imo because it is accomplishing the same strategic purpose, holding a dominant position. I think it would be his smartest strategy here, get the back and hold it while sub hunting. Tomato tomato, call it what you will. But by lay and pray I meant hold dominant grappling positions. Could be crucifix, half guard, the back, full guard. There are many ways to do it. It is a strategy he has used before.
Salt Lake City is altitude but not as high as Denver or Mexico. So yeah maybe a bit
Idk. More often than not, when a high level BJJ practioner has your back, he's looking for a sub and not to close out the round w dominant position. Just so happens that Fitch has amazing sub defense. If he gets into that spot against Yair, he's gonna go for the sub, not to win the round. Especially consider this is a 5 rounder, he's notoriously a gasser, and it's his first fight in many years
Glad we agree!
And got hit with every single thing thrown his direction. It was like watching someone throw a dog a tennis ball, he never changed course and kept going back for more without adapting. Ledets jab lit him up all night long and Walt Harris has a similar educated jab which I expect to find its target on Sherman repeatedly ...
wait wait wait, you mean BJ's brother got arrested?? and an airport was involved?? how have all the conor threads not been washed away by a sea of BJ at the airport threads?
how so? waiting to LB bj in case he looks good is the smarter move imo, barring a real quick KO, or him doing significant damage fairly early on, his line isn't going to shorten very quickly. I see that as much less likely than yair taking over almost from the start. it's all subjective anyway
saunders nsc -118 now
Seriously guys im gonna tell you one thing. If Devin powell wins this one im gonna leave Sherdog forever and admit myself I dont know anything about MMA. seriously if this guys comes out and beats klose im gonna jump off the bridge. Who is coming with me then?
@Buddy Brown You love bridges. Lets to this if Powell wins.(on paper should be even worse than sage southcut)
So I'm in the camp that Martin physically dominates White too. I can see him winning a lopsided decision, but more likely finishing on the mat.
Martin -3.5 at +110 I kinda like better than laying the juice. I don't see him squeaking out a close win. Anyone else feel this way?
You going to post your bets bro?
Holy shit, GREAT catch. I just added 4u, not kidding. Best line I can remember in a long time. How does Court finish him?
Punch to the face via Saunders horrible defense. But I hit it -130.
The only thing I'm doing is laughing if Powell wins. Won't catch me betting on a big fav who's only like 6-0 making his debut.
Looks like it was cleared up though and he will be in BJ's corner.
Rodriguez (no bet)
Harris/Martin/Klose/Ansaroff. $300 to win $1965
Pettis/Harris/Christensen/Asker/Klose $168 to win $1802
nice! awesome line for sure.. only way i see it loosing is some fluke KO/injury
Fuck bankroll management am I right?
