Other random YT fights beating low end guys ie guys with more Ls then Ws

Doing some training for rountree

Jolly looks like a packed powerhouse, big legs and he likes his leg kicks which usually back up opponents quickly, short arms usually just winging punches. His training video above shows him training back mount positions and ji jitsu and striking. Otherwise he has yet to actually beat someone who has an actually

Rountrees last 2 fights:

Rountree has the striking and power advantage imo, but he folds pretty quick on guys that get take downs on him or worse back mount positions, jolly hit a nice take down towards the end of the round in one of the vids I posted above and also showed back mount and rear naked choke attempts during training drills, that don't bode well for roundtree.

I still like Rountree ko, hedged by a Jolly sub

*Jolly moved to ATT after his last fight been there about 12 weeks now.. might see a solid improvement from him going from a no-name camp to ATT

*Jolly was a short notice replacement against Cirkunow

*Third degree black belt and world champion in Kuk Sool Won, purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu

Jolly showing off his blackbelt in Kuk Sool Won :) athletic dude for sure

Sorry if this has already been answered but does anyone know the reason behind Jollys lay off? That fight vs Cirkunov was in Aug 2015.

Hi guys, not posted here in a while or bet on MMA recently. Had a good night betting on the Denver card and this card looks pretty good for betting too, interested in who everyone is picking.

No staredown weigh-ins.

"Unlike most shows, the UFC isn’t hosting ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday. Instead, all fighters will hit the scale during the early and official weigh-ins, which are closed to the public. However, MMAjunkie will have live coverage beginning at 10 a.m. ET.

However, fans can attend Thursday’s open workouts, which begin at 12:30 p.m. CT. Attendees include headliners Chan Sung Jung and Dennis Bermudez, co-headliners Alexa Grasso and Felice Herrig, and main-card opponents James Vick and Abel Trujillo."

Can anyone explain me why main event has odds for o/u 2.5 not 4.5 rounds ?

I actually like Jolly in this fight. As @wack3d pointed out, his fight with Misha was short notice and hes recently switched up his camp to ATT which should definitely benefit him. That coupled with the fact that hes a purple belt in BJJ and Rountree has an atrocious ground game leads me to believe that he should win this fight as long as he gets it to the ground

Alex Morono

Both have some kickboxing fights and backgrounds, price is purple belt bjj and Alex is black belt bjj. We saw Alex perform better in his last outing (due to not short notice) but moon tends to gas anyhow late in rounds. Price most of his wins were r1 and he has only gone r3 once (can't find that fight), so its hard to predict how his cardio and volume will be in r2 and r3, Alex at least we know has a good output, cardio and likes to uncork when he closes the distance.

I think the 1.5 overs are safest plays here also 2.5 overs perhaps, both guys appear to have a good chin and enough ji-jitsu to prevent submission attempts here. If I had to pick though it would be Morono.

Anthony Hamilton isnt the best fighter not even close to elite but I feel like Fortuna is a good fight for him. Maybe the UFC is giving him an easy one after he took the Ngannou fight. At -170, I like him here and Im surprised at why he's not -250. Fortuna isn't a KO artist and wont be able to take the wrestling tank that is Hamilton to work his sub game. Hamilton will have a big size advantage, the KO power, and the wrestling. I like Hamilton here especially at -170.

Do agree Jolly has the ground advantage that maybe all is required to rinse and repeat on roundtrees white belt on the ground for good, but the striking difference is still quite large imo an area roundtree performs well in. Roundtrees technique, boxing and leg kicks are vicious, guys on tuff literally folded to some shots.

If Jolly initiates a take down or mentions that is his game plan during this week its hard to not like jolly su, even I would live bet him but probably after the first round.

I have a lean on this card stronger than any before, considering going 20 units deep. I don't want to say before lines drop but if you want a suggestion for your 2 teamer shoot me a PM.

I PMed you...what is your lean?!

Some recent post suggest Lactic conditioning (to avoid it- conditioning at ATT camp), he went 25 minutes (5round fight) and won in his 2nd last fight (link to some of it in my b/d) although he looked like he just hugged him on top most of the rounds.

Also mentions ATT camp has improved his striking and he was thanking them.

I think Andrade finishes Hill in round one. Under 2.5 at +100 is a gift. A big safety net.
