yea i'm pretty salty about this. but we're in the minority, sadly, in that we watch ALL fights. casual fans (and would-be ticket buyers) need a name at the top etc.

Honestly think this is a good call by the UFC, not worth the repercussions of a single fighter testing positive with that 'I'm going to slaughter people who take drugs' nutjob in charge of the country.

They're better off not going to the Philippines at all with a nut job like that in charge and draconian drug laws against foreigners. Reminds me of what I read online recently- apparently the women's chess championships are scheduled to be held in Iran soon and some of the top players including the American champion are refusing to go compete because Iran would force even non-muslim foreign women to wear a hijab head covering. If they have any sense they'll simply move the event to a non-insane country, no matter how much money they lose in the process.
