Sure was. Bloomberg even apologized and said the critics were right.

The NYPD's own stats showed that stopping white folks turned up contraband, the stated goal of the program, significantly more often than minorities. Thus white folks should have been stopped as much as minorities. But they weren't. They ignored their own stats to aggressively police minorities and give white folks the privilege of being able to walk around with almost no concern for being frisked.

This type of policing distorts crime stats to make it look like minorities are committing more crime when really it's just they are being investigated more aggressively while whites were let off the hook. Then those skewed stats are used to justify even more aggressive policing. It was racist bullshit.

That’s some incredible indifference you show to the rights of citizens.

Why should citizens act any differently to government employees or the government itself when half of the people follow your train of thought?

St. Louis rapper Huey killed. Meh, no big deal. Black man killed by another Black man. - Little to no outrage.

St. Louis rapper Bizzie Gambino killed. Meh, no big deal. Black man killed by another Black man. - Little to no outrage.

St. Louis rapper Swagg Huncho killed. Meh, no big deal. Black man killed by another Black man. - Little to no outrage.

St. Louis Protesters push through a gated entrance that is posted private property, continue their trespass and breaking of law, ignore homeowners demands to leave and stop protesting, and start shit with people who are simply trying to live their lives and enjoy the peace and quiet in a nice setting that their work afforded them. = HOW DARE THOSE WHITE PEOPLE!!!!!!! TURN UP THE OUTRAGE!

Were they actually convicted of a crime thus requiring a pardon? Otherwise wouldn't a simple dismissal actually be appropriate.

did they try to hide that fact? Is there proof that the gun was in that condition when the incident occurred. To prove the brandishing, they would have had to prove the gun was capable of being in working condition. If those people were religious the truth, they would not have plead guilty. I would want proof that he used that gun as a prop in a court case and my feeing is that wasn’t the case. But they pled guilty so anything at this point is a moot point.

And no, that is not tampering with evidence. Evidence is tested and manipulated all the time but it is documented and the defense has equal opportunity to complete tests as well

They plead guilty to some charges, IIRC.

Good. They were targeted for having the audacity to stand up to BLM and not allow themselves to be stomped into a coma and their house looted. Fortunately, common sense prevailed here.

I agree with them being pardoned and the case being exaggerated from the get go. But just who in their neighboured had been stomped into a coma?

They were saying that they armed themselves and did not allow themselves to be stomped into a coma or have their house looted.

They weren't saying that anyone was stomped into a coma.

She did point her gun with her finger on the trigger. If you had "protesters" walking down your street would you set up a position from a window or somewhere in your house or step outside to confront them?

Was it a riot? Were they trespassing or was it a public street that had a gate set up to dissuade foot traffic? Even though the gate wasn't initially broken at some point someone did and they should pay for it. Who was threatened and was it before they pointed guns at people?

Who can say? When they handed the gun over I believe the firing pin was backwards. Can anyone state with certainty that's the way it was during the confrontation?

This is not accurate. They stood down from what? People walking by their house on a sidewalk? Would they have stood down if someone broke their window or door and was climbing through it? Can you cite one report of the St. Louis protesters brandishing any type of weapon?
