We only got one male US champ

Cejudo could come back and take the FlyW or BW belt any time he felt like it. Jones would be the favorite to take the LHW belt. Dustin would be the favorite to beat Oliveira. People love to bash the US, but even in this current lull, it’s the #1 overall MMA country

Lets be honest, the only reason Jan and Figgy are champions are because Jones and Cejudo vacated or else 3 of the titles would be held by US men

It's even sadder when you consider how Sterling became champ.

And that American male champ isn't even the real champ, no one considers him the real champ, not even Americans. Even the Jamaicans are ashamed of him.

"Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.”

Once upon a time Americans were filled with strong men that created good times, now however good times have created weak men and times are about to get hard again, and for some, it has been for a while, and that will create strong men again.

Per the UFC rankings, the US has 56 of the 128 ranked fighters from the men’s divisions, which is 44% of the total. Let me know when anyone else gets anywhere that.

I think when he was younger he was trying to be as American as possible. But now he's moved in the opposite direction. I mean literally changed his name from the American Dream to the Nigerian Nightmare. From Marty to Kamaru. From Christian to Muslim.
I think he is easily led and Ali is a bad influence.

From now on the US will only be having female champs like China.

And also accidental champs.

It is an international sport. However, given the need to train with elite coaches and training partners, many international fighters do some of their training in the US once they reach the highest levels of the sport.

All of the current UFC champions have done significant training in the US. Some even live in the US. Francis Ngannou has been living in Las Vegas for over 3 years now. Valentina Shevchenko lives there as well. Amanda Nunes has been living in Florida for many years. Kamaru Usman moved to the US as a child and has lived there for over 25 years.

Early in his career, Jan Blachowicz spent a lot of time training in San Diego because UFC fighter Tomasz Drwal lived there.

Israel Adesanya has spent several months at a time trying to shore up his ground game by training with Andre Galvão at Atos in San Diego.

Charles Oliveira spent nearly a decade fighting out of Houston, because he trained there with Macaco Gold Team in addition to training with Chute Boxe Diego Lima in São Paulo.

Alexander Volkanovski hadn't trained much in the US, prior to coaching TUF, but his long-time wrestling coach, Frank Hickman, is a D1 wrestler from North Carolina. Hickman also works with Israel Adesanya to improve his TDD.

Deiveson Figueiredo spent two years training at Team Alpha Male in Sacramento.

he may not identify as american, but Marty sure is an American

If Jan wasn’t interim it would just be all black dudes as champs above 170-HW.

Manlet classes would only have chances. Imagine if MMA actually payed money that would attract many more elite black athletes.
