And here is just a small sampling of my Richard D. James collection. I have most all of his material that he has released on record and other material he hasn't released on record yet on different formats. This man is a legend and the reason I got my first keyboard

R.I.P. Ric Ocasek… :(

Sad to know that Daniel passed away. He never truly was able to come to grips with his mental illness from all I've read up on him. What a gentle soul he was.
I probably hadn't thought about him in 19-20 years. Found out in another thread today. Melancholy feeling; hopefully he is at peace.
He left a lot of material to revisit.

I'm listening to them too

Respect to Ric

Such a simple riff, and the only Pantera most people on the street could name if asked. Yet at it's core, it's still a great song and if you go to a rock/metal show and they play the riff, or even if it's over the sound system the venue will go nuts.

Sidenote: Even with his major flaws, I love Phil Anselmo as an artist. He's the living embodiment of every metal cliche, and for some reason it's ok because it comes across as genuinely who he is.

Reminds me of Amy Winehouse, here:
