What do you guys think of this Test Booster?

Do you think it's something as simple as eating a head of broccoli means you are eating like an adult and not eating other crap with your meals?

I don't think eating broccoli would be any different for you than eating a salad or any other vegetable.

We have an entire subset of studies saying brocolli is a high risk allergen (FODMAP). It causes severe gas and bloating in a reasonably high amount of the population.

I would point more to the fact that you are eating a higher volume of varied nutrients from adding about 3 serves of vegetables and that you don't normally consume that many vegetables without the addition of that vegetable you choose to eat.
Read the things in cruciferous veggies vs leafy greens to understand why. I believe Harvard, U of Wisconsin and many medical journals have info on why these reduce estrogen in the blood / body. Insane think a salad a day for 90 days vs a head of broccoli will have you jizzing like you’re 16 again and noticing other possible benefits. Again, this is the only thing I’ve personally noticed substance from. I’m insisting on it, I’m just sharing. I don’t think it technically increases it, it’s indirectly helps it go up by reducing estrogen and it has other properties that help.

I still stand by my opinion that it isn't the magical brocooli and instead are covering a deficiency from something missing in your diet. I am FODMAP and broccoli ruins me. I rarely eat brocolli (chnese broccolli is a treat when I eat out) and I have no issues in that specific department you mention because I just eat like an adult 90% of the time.

If it's working keep doing it, but given the topic of the necro thread, I just dislike when people think one thing is some magical test booster or whatever.

Fair enough. “Insane is a autocorrect”. I was saying I don’t think salads will get those results because the key thing in broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage that does this are specific high levels of phytonutrients / photochemicals that perform specific tasks in certain parts of the body that effects these hormones. I do think some leafy greens have lower amounts of them (I think Bok Choy, Collards and maybe kale).

Either way I also think they sell this stuff in liquid and powdered form for the same purpose but I wouldn’t trust the unregulated supplement industry with something niche like this. I completely understand if someone can’t do this or doesn’t think it will help. I’m just stating from personal experience whenever I do this over a period of 30-90 days and stick with it I notice what it’s doing to me in a handful of ways. Only Creatine and multivitamins if I’m deficient in something have made me notice results (outside of diet, water and sleep). Oh and beta alanine definitely gave me the tingles and made me itchy whenever it was present in something just not sure if it did anything else beyond that.

Mike Mahler has been around since the early days of kettlebells. He was one of the first to push heavy double kettlebell training and he was also a vegan back then(not sure if he still is). I used his double kettlebell dvds after originally getting exposed to RKC stuff.

He has been selling test boosters since back then. Look at the ingredients list. It's just natural supplements like stinging nettle etc.

The only supplements I have ever found worth using are creatine, protein and electrolytes. Not drinking and good sleep have done more for me than any test boosting supplements ( F you Tongkat Ali)
I remember him from wayyyy back.

I followed his double kettlebell stuff for probably 6 months to a year as a 15 year old getting into kettlebells before they were cool. I swapped to powerlifting when I found this site to be honest.

He was still selling the same products then and the website hasn't really changed much.

Lol I think I met him once because my friend was part of the kettlebell cult. He added me on social media. This was long time ago and I was like wow this guy wants to be my friend lol.

Haha yeah. I have followed a few different things like that in my time, but never been full in on the cult aspect. I got right into clubells at one point and I remember he had some programs their for a while.

I recently started using my clubs again just to give my joints a bit of a break. The funny part was all these people are trying to sell products related to their chosen training tool primarily.

Looks like he is still decently fit though. Looking at Naudi's stuff including the thread here was my favourite. He still hasn't progressed too far past selling short barefoot srpints as the ultimate form of athleticism...

I work in a job where I wear boots and heavy equipment all day. How do barefoot sprints help me outside of my hobbies?

Naudi was just too weird. He had a flowery way of training that wasn't quite practical. He had some guys jumping on a bosu ball with a barbell/weights on their back. The risk vs reward isn't good IMO. He got a few famous folks working with him though. I believe he doesn't have any credentials either. He is kind of a touch butt type of trainer. I don't want to crap on him too hard.

There might be some merit to his training but he is too abrasive as a person. I seen some online discourse with him and he just replies with you guys are donkeys or stupid. He doesn't quite defend his position or it is really confusing/vague when he does.

Best test boosting supplement I found was watching pro MAGA newscasters and influencers.
Only side effect was an unseemly attraction to other males.

Tong is legit. You can find clinical trials on pubmed. Ashwaganda is too. Boron improves free test. I can show my own blood work for tong and ashwaganda

What doses were you taking? Any side effects? What happened when you came off of them?

If I need a heap of specialist equipment for you to teach me how to train like our ancestors did, it doesn't make much sense. If the majority of your training is balancing on plastic balls, using cable and assault runner treadmill sprints, you have kinda missed the point.

Everything is about gait with his system and the entire logic seems to be "Sprinters are muscular, therefore sprinting makes you muscular and Deadlifts are bad." No issues with all the throwing stuff, but instead of just throwing stuff they ended up simulating it with expensive machines and pulleys, same with all this sprint work on assault runners. It all looks cool and fancy and sells the product of training at this expensive fancy facility with Naudi, when you could achive similar with a track, ball on a rope and bands at a fraction of the cost. It complexity for the sake of it.

I ended up with anxiety when I took it. Never really sufferred from it bad before but I felt like I was having panic attacks for absolutely nothing. I do drink a lot of coffee so it might have just been too much.

I remember when he actually had some fighters training with him. His fighters were performing horribly. In the betting thread we tracked it. His fighters were performing at like 20% win rate, and the sad thing is some of them were good fighters and going into the fights as favorites.

I watched his video with Brett Contreas and he mentions his thread here at the start of the vid like it was somehow in his favour. The reality was he came in here after reading a PT text book and thought he had some special information that noone else had. Unfortunately it was so special even he didn't have it either when asked to explain it.

It became very clear, very quickly that there was no progressive overload, no way to track performance or no way to show any improvement within his special system. It was basically just more complex circus tricks and random exercises and making athletes waste their time doing those circus tricks and calling it training. It basically turned training into the athletes secondary sport. No wonder it didn't work well with MMA, when you already have so many competing factors.

So I took tong and ash at the same time. I forget the tong dose offhand but ash I am still running at 300 and boron.

Ash doesn’t increase test so much as it lowers cortisol which allows test to go up. This helps with stress and sleep too. Been on for three months now. Dropped tong after I started trt.

I recently just cut booze and it has given me better effects than I ever got with Tongkat Ali. My sleep, recovery and everything quadrupled. I had slowly gotten to the point that 2 glasses of wine everynight was the usual and it actually had a major impact on my recovery.

I thought for sure I was a prime candidate for TRT. Just changing that one thing has kept me away now. Crazy to think something so minor was basically destroying my recovery that much.
