Crockett Cup '19
Thinking back 2001 also got off to a good start, Royal Rumble with the Jericho/Beniot ladder match and Austin winning, No Way Out had the 3 stages of hell with Austin v Trips, the upper half of Wrestlemania was good with TLC of course.
I have alot of favorites with great matches but my personal nostalgic favorite is Survivor Series 98 aka the deadly games tournament for the WWF Championship which kickstarted the Rock. Overall a bit weak but my local video store had it and I rented it way too many times.

Its the only wrestling event I cried at the end.
About time they got the respect they deserved, if only for one night.
And it was Mike Awesome's last match, and Benoit & Guerro's last match together.
RVD giving the best appreciative promo in Pro-wrestling history was better than any match he could have given when he wasn't injured.
The best entrance ever - Sandman walking through the crowd, the crowd singing the 'Enter Sandman' lyrics louder than I've ever heard any crowd singing along to any song ever - And that includes the four Metallica concerts I've been to when they played 'Enter Sandman.'
10/10 event then.
11/10 event now.
