38 year old Silva who was going to retire but Dana convinced him to keep banging against the younger generation with a new Bentley.

Idk for how long Silva wanted out but just going off of interviews from before that fight he didn't sound like he wanted to be there. People love to mention Silva's recent performances against Bonnar and Sonnen to suggest he was in his prime but never mention the fact those guys are his age and with a similar amount of mileage. They weren't hungry young guys with the confidence that comes from being undefeated.
