would you rather; ONE punch from Ngannou or five from Poirier

Medically, assuming you're strong enough to take Ngannou's one punch without being killed, taking one hard punch does less damage than five half as strong ones. The problem is that even the first punch from Poirer will concuss you, and then you take four additional punches on an increasingly concussed brain -- that can be deadlier than Ngannou's punch, and will almost certainly lead to long term neurological damage (slurred speech, headaches, depression etc).

Are you allowed to try to duck the punch (ie is it in the cage)? That would make it even smarter to take the one from Ngannou -- your chances of ducking one punch (or at least not being hit solidly) is much better than of ducking five punches.

I love that you formulate some thought, that inside your brain is educated, but you completely made all this up and have zero idea if it's even factual.

Can I just choose to jump in front of a real ford escort instead?

Google (or DuckDuckGo) is your friend:

https://commons.trincoll.edu/brain/...challenge-in-determining-safe-return-to-play/

" Current research supports that if a second concussion happens within 1-3 days the cognitive function was significantly worse and the individual was more likely to have long term learning impairments. "

Or just look up second impact syndrome

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second-impact_syndrome

Beyond that, ask yourself if hits on already concussed brains weren't more dangerous, why would every major sporting organization (NFL, NHL, NBA etc) require concussed athletes to be immediately removed from the game for a set period of at least several days, and even after that not allowed back in until cleared by a doctor.

We're talking about sports worth billions, and players who get paid many millions per year who are taken out of play for an extended period because the league believes that another head blow while already concussed is too dangerous to allow them to play.

Anyone who follows hockey or football knows what I said about repeat blows on an already concussed brain, its been all over the sports news for about a decade.

5 from dustin. I prefer to keep the few teeth i have left.

We have weight classes for a reason. I'd be a LHW in the UFC or if I cut down probably MW. Do you think Poirier would knock out any UFC MW with 5 shots? I highly doubt it.
Lol yes Dustin would KO any UFC HW if he had 5 unprotected punches. You idiot. You would be KO’d with 1

Ngannou.

The chance of brain damage from one horrible shot is still less that 5 decent ones in my Sherbro opinion.

* it’s not like Dustin is a flyweight.

Yes like the old man at the bar was KO'd by Conor and like how the fat dude outside the bar was KO'd by BJ Penn. Oh wait. "You idiot" lmao. Filthy casuals when will they learn.
