Great night, much needed.

Whats a big night for me without a parlay that misses by one pick though, right?

I'm a jackass for not just playing it 'safe' with Glover moneyline, but oh well. I WILL!!!! hit a hail mary parlay this year, I still stand by that

Good night for me as well, long overdue, good job and congratulations to everyone else who had a profitable night :)

have you ever hit a hail mary parlay? You always get very very close

@Joseph Budden

i think next time there is a card where it's obvious there are gonna be a tonne of decisions, it's probably worth throwing a handful of hail marys down - i know that was the case when you nearly hit that 30k.

i don't even have my bets on O9.5 decisions +14000 or miller-poirier FOTN +475 listed, cause they were voided before the event started & 5d never put the new lines up. i would've had a healthy profit if those two were honored.

a draw in holm-GDR should've happened, too.

this is about par for the course for me so far in 2017.

p.s. F YOU, reis, for not finishing that choke.

p.s.s. F ME for not betting more on that O2.5 RR.

For sure I do my best hitting 'fighter x wins by decision' props. I think the key is also identifying cards with fights where decisions are more possible than the odds suggest. Those Poirier dec and Reis dec lines being the best example. I thought DP KO and Reis sub were the ONLY ways those fights end itd, thus why I took my chances on 'by dec'. Granted their dec lines were still under +200, but still good enough and likely enough to use a bit in big money parlays.

Was out with the stomach flu most of last week. Brutal stuff. Ended up betting the smallest I have in a long time on this card and had one of my best returns in terms of ROI. Go figure. Mainly played parlays of the obvious favs (Reis, Jacare, Laflare, Tex, Mak), a single on Belal, and then fished out props for the rest (Silva +3.5, not Poirier Rd 1 (parlay), Holm +5.5, over 2.5 Nover/Glenn). I did have Glover/Cannon ITD and Silva/Brunson ITD inside a couple of small parlays that crashed.

2,5u Poirier -110

Played the line movement here. I was actually waiting for miller to hit +400 but it seems he's coming down a bit so I jumped on it.

This to me seems like another card that I should probably minimize my action on and not force plays like i did last week.

+4,9 units.

Did a very small stab on silva after the fight during lb on betfair.

I'm also experimenting a little bit with a certain form of parlay which was inspired by someone on this board a while ago. I had a trial run if you will for the last 5 or 6 events without money to see if i had some measure of success with it. So i did a 2 unit parlay this time and it was nice to see it cash out for around 2 units. We'll see how it pans out in the long term. I also just think they are fun to do. also still got a regular parlay alive for next event so that's nice.

-2.09 units per total. Could've been so much better if those 3 close decisions went the other way (Nover,Brunson and Holly).

First time wagering on the UFC, but many more to come:

UFC 208: +2.35 units

1u on Muhammed +100
3.1u on Glover -165

.5u on Miller +350

All bets were pre-fight and the site my BR is tied up on has limited options, which is actually good in my opinion because it stops me from getting too cute with my plays.

Silva +140 1u

Boetsch +400 .5u
Boetsch KO +890 .5u

Not feeling great about any of these, should've passed on most but that wouldn't be any fun. Will probably add Brooks ML if it evens out.

+5u, better than expected. Shouldn't have gone as big on props

+12.40u. I was at a friends house so I didn't read the PBP thread very much but I actually switched sides to Silva at the end of r1 and kept adding at dog odds later on. I thought he won both round 1 and 2, was surprised to see so many people call it a robbery. Thought it was a close fight with Silva doing a bit more damage.
