#1 Anna von Hausswolff - Dead Magic

Digging this album a lot. I still like Beach House 7 for my top pick but this is a solid album and a keeper. Reminds me a bit of Kate Bush with some post-rock and doom-metal influences.

1. Pianos Become the Teeth - Wait for Love (has my 3 of my 5 favorite songs of the year lol, just amazing, gets better with every listen)
2. Hop Along - Bark Your Head Off, Dog (best female vocalist out there IMO, and there are hundreds now)
3. Joyce Manor - Million Dollars to Kill Me (simple, catchy, and fun as always. I listen to their last 3 albums back to back to back on repeat sometimes at work. Takes less than an hour lol)
4. Foxing - Nearer My God (still digging into this one)
5. Tiny Moving Parts - Swell - (has been out for a while so it kinda got forgotten but some great stuff on this.)

yeah i’m just listening now and i hear some bauhaus in this as well as kate bush. very dark but very gorgeous album so far.

I knew it was going to be a bunch of obscure shit. This is coming from someone with 300gb of music from all genres.

The Metric and Ghost albums are great though. And did not know BRMC had a new one out so that's exciting. I thought the A Perfect Circle album was terrible.
