There was a time when it seemed like it was all but assured that he'd earn that accomplishment. However the injuries that took so much of his prime away from him put up a pretty big roadblock. Wasn't it like a 4 year period where he only fought JDS and Bigfoot?

Or GSP getting destroyed by Matt Sera another journeyman guy way smaller than him. You can make this argument for literally every other fighter. Funny how everyone else can lose several times during their career and all can be forgiven, yet Fedor losses fights after 10 years undefeated, a streak that startchs everyone in the entire sport, yet he is dismissed. Cause it is all based on such a ridiculous bias by people that are held up as beacons of MMA knowledge(just cause people don't like them on here sometimes, doesn't mean the mainstream doesn't regurgitate what they say). There is no logical argument for this at all. These aren't guys that have similar accomplishments, Fedor was the number 1 HW fighter longer than every other HW fighter combined, they aren't separated by big time periods either. This are opinions that can't even be articulated by them.
