Breese trains alongside Alex Garcia at Tristar, who lost to Strickland, so will be getting some valuable intel from him too, i'd imagine.

Who was the coolest out of everyone you met? Always like hearing about who's cool and who's a dick in person.

Coolest dude definitely Buffer. Man he's living the life and he's like 60. He's always in a good mood.

I don't know if they showed it on the stream but before the weigh ins, they were filming a scene for the TV show, "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" and they had Cerrone and Cub Swanson come out and pretend to weigh in against each other n stuff it was pretty funny.

Another funny story I was sitting next to Bispings family while a bunch of fans in the crowd booing him and calling for his head n shit while his kids and wife sit there and by their expressions they're probably used to it lmao. They weren't even bothered.

i've just been watching some tape on breese and strickland. not entirely sure what to predict from breese but i really dislike strickland's low output on the feet - he fights like he's in a sparring match. i think breese has the power advantage and cleaner striking from what i can tell, and with the huge size advantage i think he's a good bet at pick 'em odds.
With you on this one. Im on Breese too at -120. He is -110 now but fuck it, I still like my bet.

One thing Strickland has is thoughness. The guy ate bombs from Ponzinibbio all fight long and did not get in a lot of trouble. That is a red light fighting against a guy who might have cardio issues.

I played Breese at even. I give him a very slight edge only.

I watched Strickland fight in kotc before Ufc it's on fight pass, wow is he passive.

Strickland is a tough lad but his jab is quite basic, he stands very upright & his guard is too low. He's also pretty submissive regarding where the fight goes.

If Breese chops him down with low kicks i can see him landing his devastating straight left. Breese's output is a bit conservative too though & his cardio is still a question mark.

Strickland is very hittable so i lean Breese but i'm not overly confident.

yea, no live betting

that said, quality is great. you watch most on your tv etc? i always have the tv during tv fights but always end up finding a stream that's faster, anyway

holy crap breeze looks like a hw next to strickland :) will be on him for sure even though he disapointed in his last fight.. different opponent this time though and he is so young he will only improve from that fight.

I hope somebody tailed me on Cruz SD +1015 and Faber NSC +311. They are currently +381 and +181, respectively. They are so hedgeable that I hedged out my full unit on Cruz SD to the point where I have a $300+ freeroll on it

Dominick Cruz/Urijah Faber FOTN +425, I like it.

One interesting thing that I got away from listening to Heavy Hands and Vivisection is that they agree about how passive Strickland is. They attribute it to how early he started and that his main focus was on defence as he was a teenager fighting grown men and thus had to survive, first and foremost. As a result winning rounds might be a bit distorted for him, for example not being hit/hurt may count as a point scoring action in his head whilst Breese comes from Tristar and will be more educated on winning rounds. This is similar to the problem Masvidal has.

Is little over @100

Caceres is a great fighter with a suspect chin, he might easily pull off a win(as he can get KOed, though)

Prior is good, but Bobby seems like a bad match up for him. Bobby is fast and slick, looks in a better shape too.

Lamas will wrestle Holloway into a decision.

Faber is way too underrated in the odds. He fought the best guys and had a close competition against Frankie. Faber is no stranger to Cruz and his way of movement, defeated him once and lost in a controversial decision in their second fight. He knew that Cruze's punches ain't much in the second fight, so he bit down on the mouthpiece and gone through some of those shots to land his own, what lead to Cruz being rocked few moments. I don't see why he shouldn't do more of this here too.

Pretty risky individually speaking, together? It's like throwing $$ down the drain. Short notice, long term inactivity, young fighter who constantly improves and neo footwork opponent...Need a miracle to pull all this off, if you get it done then congrats, you deserve to get paid for your balls alone. I'll pass even if I had money.

Bobby Green does a have a solid chance against Cub Swanson.

Good way to look at it. Unfortunately I see Cruz making an example out of Faber...
