I completely agree that immigration is natural and I have nothing against it (my wife is an immigrant), but Canada was known for having an excellent screening process when it came to who was allowed in the country. Trudeau is trying to go full Merkel and say "Come on in everybody our borders are open to anyone and everyone. Love Wins!" We have all seen how well that is working for Germany.

My wife is quite bitter as well given the fact that she had to earn her Canadian citizenship. She spent years here as a student, working various jobs and paying a lot of money just to become a Canadian citizen. Now Trudeau is making it so that people merely have to show up and they can become citizens. Hell, the useful idiot is even giving terrorists their citizenship back.

I've been working since I was 16 years old (12 years in total). I stopped working for a couple of years to finish school and I will resume working again next year as soon as I graduate. I was going to work this summer at a camp for special needs kids, but circumstances changed and I am spending the summer with my wife.

Trudeau might achieve the impossible and actually make people miss Harper.

A Mexico - Canada flight isn't that expensive. It's a lot for a poor person but not something you can't save up for. Canada has a vastly more robust welfare system than the US, so it's a much better value for money to file a fraudulent asylum claim in Canada than to pay Coyotajes to get you into the US. Not good.

I'd rather have a million poor third worlders than your racist ass. Racism and xenophobia aren't welcome in Canada.

African Americans and hispanics have a gang problem because of historical racism from white people, men in particular. That's why it's so important to challenge patriarchal xenophobia. In Canada, we have actively sought to include women everywhere and treat immigrants fairly. That's why we don't have the race problems that you get in America.

Actually most street gangs originated in the American prison system or American ghettos and then they were exported to latin american countries with deportations of members and the lawlesness from civil war in central america.

In Mexico you dont see street gangs outside of border cities, organized crime is controlled by cartels.

There was never a visa requirement for Mexicans in Canada, if we would had flooded Canada it would had been during the 90s crisis, where even capable and educated people were one foot into homelesness.

People dont miss Harper, they miss the early 2010s with the soaring oil prices and the such.

What if the third worlders are racist? Mexicans in the US hate blacks more than white people hate blacks. And nobody is more racist than Asians.

Canada is only 19% visible minority (as of 2011, at least), that likely has ALOT to do w/ the lack of racism. Quite frankly, compared to the US, that's not diverse at all
Canada has about 35M people, almost 80% are white
Cali has 37M people, only 38% are nonhispanic whites for reference.....
Canada has some Asians, but again less than simply California has as 12-13% of its population

Exactly, in the US you have a major problem with racism and xenophobia. It leads to immigrants from other cultures not assimilating. Canada is much more inclusive and not scared of other cultures. It all stems from your patriarchal institutions.
