So still no action on RDA-ferg.. i've been a huuuuuge ferg backer, some people even laughed when i said he'd be fighting for the belt by the end of 2016 (a couple years ago) -- ok, that didn't happen but it could/should have! fights fell thru, conor entered 155, etc.

and while i'm concerned with RDA coming off of a KO / losing belt (and moreso: switching camps)...

i have been on record in saying: RDA is going to win the first round. that's why i don't like all the ferg prefight action that i'm seeing. i think you'll absolutely get a better price live on ferg, and i might be betting that, myself. but not betting him pre. ferg's lost the first round 4 of his last 6 fights. RDA almost always starts out strongly (alvarez obviously an exception).

in that line of thought, i also absolutely see value on RDA RD1 +850.

Olives straight to towel and up first....hits 155 pounds so 9 pounds over, think they are trying to contact lamas if he wishes to go ahead.

Sigh this is not looking good.....

LOL

other weigh ins :
lamas 146 made weight lets hope the fight goes ahead @ catchweight, but not looking good.
154 ferg/rda 156 hit the weight fine

Lamas just said they will take the fight despite olives being 9 pounds over.....

madness but not complaining

(non-official till commissioner says it though)

olives is a joke he came in 143 last fight lol wtf?! Why even go to towel when you are going to miss by miles anyway. Seems like he hasn't even bothered trying to cut. prob knew he was going to miss and what with the elevation thought no way hes going to drain himself.

Do agree but just in case Ferg does take him out in a round (i know unlikely but if these two met head on it's not out of the realm of possibility rda did go down in r1 in his last fight) i couldn't turn down +142.

Is cordeiro cornering rda? he is cornering dariush i think. Just trying to work out if there has been a falling out for whatever reason.

9 pound boxer shorts perhaps lol

Think they said olives has missed it 4 times before, they started to discuss known offenders like linekar.

Anyhow the news I posted was not 100% confirmed yet, think one of them said lamas wants all of olives money.

Did Oliveira think the fight was at LW?

lol olives isnt going to fight for free. isn't the deal 20%?

Yeah lamas camp just said it joke wise, but they are discussing how they can negotiate certain new terms ie olives must only way 165 by tommorow morning and not 185 pounds, think they said 20% or more purse is possible.

Its money talk who knows lol

Is that normal on that facebook pre-weigh in stream for live commentary? Seems like insider gossip

Guy talking about fighters and how they have another scale behind this one so fighters coming in way early are having a hard time or gave up cutting weight, think he said olives does this. He just said olives
should make weight though and he always looks skinny, but he came in on tuesday (per normal) so not early to adjust for climate, he said most Brazilians tend to do this.

He gave his picks also

Ferguson
Frankie
loves max holloway

Main weigh in is still over 7 hours away

Yep. Thats why I like watching them. They stream the weigh ins live on Facebook and answer people's questions when theres a lull in the fighters coming out. You can usually get some really solid insider commentary and insight when they do.

switched my oliveira bet to 2u on Lamas

I assume it has something to do with Olives taking the fight on October 12th and maybe some sort of sickness leading up to this that caused him to not be able to cut and he just stopped when he knew he would make it.

But still thats an crazy amount to be over. At least try to come in at 150 or something especially after he came in at 143 for the Pettis fight.

They probably all gas by r2 tomorrow lol

Grasso made weight @ 116 with full towel

Lamas/Oliveira out this card?

Lamas camp still negotiating exact money terms and clauses but looks to be still on.

Olive camp said it was the short notice that caused the issue.

You really have to wonder what Olives walk around weight is between fights. He must cut a pretty absurd amount of weight.

That said, it blows my mind that he weighed in at 143lbs against Pettis.

I added another approx. 2u more on Lamas at -108 figuring the fight might go ahead.
