CONTROL OF THE TAKEDOWN GOES TO SANDOVAL, IT GOES TO THE GROUND WHEN HE SAYS IT DOES. IF SANDOVAL HAS NO PROBLEMS STRIKING WITH SCHNELL THIS FIGHT MAY NEVER EVEN TOUCH THE GROUND, EXCEPT END OF ROUNDS TO MAKE IT CLEAR TO JUDGES IN A CLOSE STANDUP BATTLE. THIS COULD BE A PROBLEM FOR SCHNELL AS HIS BEST PATH TO VICTORY IS A SUB FROM GUARD, HE HAS AN AGGRESSIVE SUB GAME. IF IT DOESNT GO THERE THEN HE HAS TO WIN A DEC WHERE HE LOOKS INEFFECTIVE STANDING, PROBABLY GAVE UP SOME END OF ROUND TAKEDOWNS OR WAS DIRTY BOXED AGAINST THE CAGE.

ANOTHER NOTE IS SANDOVALS CARDIO BUT THIS IS DEPENDENT ON HOW THE FIGHT GOES. IF SANDOVAL IS GETTING LIT ON HIS FEET, FEELS HE MUST ATTEMPT TAKEDOWNS BUT HAS TO STRUGGLE TO GET THEM OR HOLD POSITION, YES, HE WILL GAS. IF SANDOVAL PLAYS A STRIKING GAME MOSTLY, CLINCHES SOMETIMES AND THE TAKEDOWNS COME EASY THEN HE WONT GAS.

FOR THESE STATED REASONS AND SOME UNMENTIONED, THE PICK IS SANDOVAL BY DEC WITH LOW-MODERATE CONFIDENCE. DONT PUT HIM IN TOO MANY PARLAYS.

Dont agree dude. Sandoval gasses every fight hes extended. His output drops badly after r1 against both serrano and earlington. Theres no doubt in my mind that the same happens here. Schnell is also the far superior striker sandoval literally only has an overhand that he spams. If he lands clean in r1 he could get a ko but its so telegraphed and being flys highly unlikely sandoval puts him away. After r1 the speed drops and so does the volume. Schnell is very dangerous off his back too sandovals td's will count for nothing when he cant maintain top control.
 
This under action is insane... it's another Santos/Marshman situation.

It's basically the equivalent of saying Dodson KO in under 2.5, -220.

Yeah I feel like a moron. I took Dodson dec +165. Now they pulled the prop lines for this fight and o2.5 is +180! So I bet that too...

I thought sandoval looked alright against reis until getting his back taken. His scrambles were pretty impressive

I actually agree with most of what you say but if Schnell s a superior striker, I don't think he'll be convincing in showing that. Schnell has a lead hook, good jab, doubles up on it sometimes, uses combos and sometimes throws leg and body kicks on the end of them. I think he'll be ineffective landing his jab and lead hook which he likes to land before he starts adding up combos. If Schnell lights Sandoval up, Sandoval can cage press and dirty box. Sandovals striking is limited but not to one punch, of course he lkes his overhand but he sometimes adds in hooks against the cage before he starts dirty boxing, so 2 punches lol. Seriously though he can put some strong punches together in combination. I'm not supremely confident in Sandoval but confident enough to bet him at +105, I think he should be a slight favorite.
