Masvidal has looked great at getting up when taken down but against who? Maia grapplefucked Gunnar which gives me every confidence that if he gets Mas down he is not getting back up.

Hard to envision a Masvidal KO as he'd either need to KO him cold or follow Maia to the ground. He hasn't shown much 1 punch power, and if he's mainly training defensive wrestling I assume he'll avoid the ground at all costs. Then again, a RD3 Maia is far less intimidating and we know Mas will still be fresh.

Why the confidence decrease in Andrade?

I'm so undecided on this event i should just lb it.

You don't know she will gas in r4 & 5. She threw 350 strikes against Hill and looked fine to me end of r3. Of course it's a concern but you can't say it so matter of fact when there's no prior proof of Andrade gassing in r4 or r5.

I know. Like many many others on here i am making predictions. I bet though she throws more than 350 against KK as she won't be so easy to hit. Hill had non existent defence and a shit chin. Still did ok...

This is true but just remember KK's fight IQ. It's in another league to Andrade. If JJ at her best shows up it's in the bag

agree with jj being hittable. jj v gadelha was in a small cage for the tuf 23 finale btw if thats something that could be a factor regarding the amount the fight hits the cage/clinch

But Gunnar almost initiated the grappling with Maia, and when down he did not focus on getting up where he would have the advantage, instead he tried to outgrapple Maia for 3 rounds (that's how i remember it)... Masvidal is not going in with that mindset

why do we point out that gadelha won the first two rounds then gassed and assume Andrade has the gas tank for 5 rounds. Joanna takes over in the championship rounds everytime that's just what she does no matter who the opponent. is.
