hopefully their stock drops to 20 again. would be a decent buy. they’ve already lost half their price just going back to october.
Blizzard is really going to shit these days. Sad to see, never seen a gaming company so out of touch with its fans.
Shit, remember when Xbox One was revealed as a television machine?
That was the correct marketing path. For its the only value a console brings over a Pc and smartphone.
Apparently, the people see far more value in console gaming, than they do PC. Far less hassle too...with better games, and less troubleshooting, and crashes, and upgrade requirements, and the general irritation that comes with PC gaming, that only the nerdiest of the nerds enjoy dealing with.
now consoles are more irritating than PCs - with hard drives that are tiny, requiring subscriptions to play online, data vulnerabilities, freezes, crashes, constant forced updates, etc.
as for better games... umm... huh?
The online fee is the only thing that is a solid complaint. Freezes and crashes? LOL. I mean sure, they occur, but compared to PC...lulz. At least on console, when a game crashes, it's either a freak occurrence, or a universal glitch that is corrected with a universal patch that works on all machines. When a game crashes on PC, you gotta bring out the big book of "One Billion Reasons Why Your Game Might've Crashed", and troubleshoot the problem yourself.
Forced updates? Who cares? You're telling me you don't have to update all the components of PC regularly?
LOL. As for data vulnerability, I have no idea what you're talking about.
I don't see one worse than the other, except for with PC, there are far more avenues for hackers to steal your shit. It's nothing I've ever worried about on either though, so whatever.
Yeah, the exclusives on consoles are far better than the exclusives on PC. Also, developers are now thinking console first, which is why PC gets so many piss poor versions that have way more problems than their console counterparts.
the exclusive have been meh, at best. rdr2 sucked. bloodborne was the only one worth mentioning, iirc.
and there are way more games needing a pc to play or are vastly better to play on pc. i'm not sure there's a single game that's better on console.

it's not just mmo. but yeah, that's what i meant. some genres are just better suited for pc. ie: arpg, strategy, etc.
and i just haven't been too swayed by exclusives yet.
i can even give a pass to shooters since everyone's on an equal playing field (ie: controller vs controller)
The ARPG genre seems pretty stagnant at the moment, doesnt it? Its still either D3 or PoE. Only thing on the horizon thats even moving my needle is Wolcen. I keep thinking someone somewhere has to see that the Lost Ark ARPG is getting people interested and it probably wont ever even make it to the west. Im crossing my fingers somebody can just put two and two together that an ARPG MMO could be the next big thing. Someone that would make it good, anyway.

You are wrong on almost every point you've made. Those pesky sales numbers for units sold of both consoles and games, refute that claim.

On that note, it is kind of amazing watching these established videogame companies just totally shit the bed, like they don't understand the industry they're in. I've defended Blizzard as a company overall in here, but goddamn, what was up with that "Diablo: Immortal"reveal? How did they not see the backlash coming?
Same with EA and all of their fuck ups over the past few years.
Shit, remember when Xbox One was revealed as a television machine? This came after them breaking through in the videogame market with a solid foundation built on pure gaming with the 360. Then some way overpaid moron decided that what people wanted with the next console was a TV box, and they've never really recovered since.
The sheer ineptitude really does boggle the mind.
Huh? I think they recovered. And pretty damn well too.
That dipshit Don Mattrick is out and Based Phil is in. They removed all that DRM, always online, can't borrow or rent games crap and discontinued the shitty Kinect. They were the first to push xplay and are playing nice with Nintendo. The only thing they've sucked on is exclusives and even then they are ramping up hard for 9th gen.
