UFC 235 Jones vs Smith

Was waiting for Cirkunov to be a massive underdog, which would be very value, but the lines are almost even wtf? I guess its value to bet on Walker then.

Diego has never been subbed and can still outwrestle Gall all day like he did to White. Galls only a brown belt, wouldn't even be surprised if Diego finishes him.

Great value as a dog.

What does Usman have for Woodley?

What does Usman have for Woodley?

Pressure, cardio, volume...still need to tape, but feel like he can overwhelm Woodley down the stretch if he doesn't get starched early.

I'm taking Lawler +230 all day here
I think this line is disrespectful to Robbie's legacy, but when has he ever demonstrated that he can beat a guy with the wrestling chops that askren has? Rda just bullied the shit out of him in the clinch, I don't see a way he can stop askren from getting ahold of him. Feels like a punt to me.

This is a good one. No tape I like Tyron, robbie, tecia, vera and cody. Stephens and diego are solid dogs too. Already have jones as a parlay piece, would love to see smith knocking him the f out but not seeing it. Jones wins this 9.9 out of 10 times. Expect a 3rd rd tko via hellbows

Rda is actually a well rounded fighter and knows how to mix it up well. He took robbie down after battering him for a couple rds with solid punches, knees and kicks. Robbie got injured early too. askren is a one trick pony (a good one, but one nonetheless). he's way too predictable and robbie has very good tdd. On the feet, he's virtually no threat. My sister's kicks are better than askren's. Robbie has a good shot.

I agree with you completely. I am just concerned that that one trick is Robbie's weakness. Not sure if he will have the space to outstrike askren to win 2 of three rounds, thus degrading a Robbie win to ko or bust. I find it to be a losing roi position more often than not in that case. I'm eager for a good spot to fade askren, just not sure this is it.

Hard to call because he’s not a feint and footwork pressure fighter. He’s a presence pressure fighter, always in your face, and if he’s constantly in Woodleys face I don’t know if I trust his defense to not eat something big.

How long can Woodley's cardio last? IMO Woodley's essentially got to hit a walkoff KO in the first 2 rounds or he's gonna get worn down and gas hard.

How hard can Usman be relied on to push Woodleys cardio when every time he pushes forward he's got Woodley waiting to land a bomb on him? As soon as Till tried to pressure he walked straight into a pull counter right hand and that was that pretty much.

I bet on Woodley in that fight and Till had one of the most outrageous bedshits. He went from 0 output in R1 to Griffin-Silva sprinting across the cage in round 2. Intelligent pressure is the name of the game.

I'm just not convinced Usman can do that. Woodley had way more lateral movement vs Till and if Usman swings like he normally does out there Woodley will land hard easily up the middle.

I can see Usman winning but this seems like the first time he's actually facing anyone who has the power exploit the holes in his game and the step up in that regard is huge going from guys like Maia and RDA to arguably the hardest hitter in the division.

I honestly see Tyquil bombing Usman back into the Nebraska shadow realm here, Usman has bullied his past adversaries with his pressure/ striking (which is average imo) because of his wrestling threat.... dont see that gamplan working with the champ.

Im not a fan of Woodley but i think im done fading him, yes he has a suspect gas tank but i think one or two of his counters will do more than enough to keep Usman from applying too much pressure

Woodley could reasonably have 2 losses, or unreasonably have 3, in his last 6 fights if some coins had landed heads instead of tails. Wonderboy is a tough out for anyone, sure, and Kelvin has a tiny argument in that split. Rory beat him handily (which Tyron obviously learned from tbf). PEDquardt showed a KO can be there. Maia was Maia but Woodley was pretty underwhelming as champ in the win. In all of these he did what it took, I suppose. But that'll be my main point...

Sometimes Woodley does only just what it takes to win. Usman is too smart for that.

I think Usman knows what his path is. Maybe it's to out cardio and out work Tyron? Hard for me to guess but I believe he will come in there, the younger and hungrier guy, with a grinding, difficult game plan to do it. I trust Usman to know how to get it done. Woodley can be like a deer in headlights sometimes, patient and waiting. I think Usman can exploit that inactivity. Make Tyron really work in Round 1 and 2, then start to pull away in 3-4-5. Start to look for a finish if it's there late.

At +150 or thereabouts Usman and his intelligence has my money.

Yeah. I'm on Usman ML, going to be looking at 4/5/Dec props and probably a sprinkle on KO4/5.

Usman hedged with Woodley KO or Wood 1-2 surely the way to go if you're one to hedge?

Usman is more active so should pick up rounds; my query is whether Wood can fold him early. I think he can tbh
